   I went in second time today to get the Warbuton’s bread that I can’t find in my local supermarkets. I couldn’t find a halal hard cheese in the fridge. I Came across Napolitan hard cheese. I took it off the shelf to read the ingredients and saw it had expired. Took another one, expired too. Took a third one, expiring April 2026. I went to the tills to let them know. The lady apologised to me and I went to pay for my items. Another lady who served me at the tills, Sabina, she was lovely and friendly. She was told by her manager to ask me if I could do a google review. I told her I was going to write one anyway as I saw an expired item on the shelf. While I’m talking to Sabina, the manager, was next till serving a customer. The manager looked at me and laughed. I will have to be vigilant and look at the expiration dates from now on unfortunately

   Budgens of Islington is always a pleasure to visit, fresh fruit, a huge range of chilled items and groceries, plus plenty of pet food options. Their Scoot delivery service is a game changer, bringing order in 30 mins. Friendly staff, great selection....Highly recommended.

   Good local style supermarket. A bit dull in lighting and often shelves being stacked at busy times which makes shopping difficult. Variety of fresh products and store goods.

   Got a nice selection of ready to eat meals like sushi. Good variety of products including high quality pre-made frozen food. Only supermarket I've seen that has five different types of truffle cheese apart Whole Foods Market.

   Great little store on Upper street. Has the cold food range which is great if you want lunch or to pick up something for dinner later. Has the usual items for a mid week too up shop aswell, friendly staff who make the shopping trip all the better.

   Visited in the afternoon on a Saturday in November. The selection in here is quite good, with a nice mix of staples and more ‘artisanal’ products. Big range of cheese. Meat counter. Nice selection of beers, with a small emphasis on London breweries. Friendly staff. Prices seemed pretty decent overall. It was a productive shop I had here and I would certainly return next time I am in the area.
