   Wouldn't bother with this place. No indication as when splash park is open, even public park is pretty poor. Typical council run! You'd be better off at The Promenade Water Fountains.

   I went to the splash park at happy mount park and the splash park was shut, there was no one at the kiosk, I scanned the QR code for the opening time and by all accounts it should have been open. The small park and train were also shut. I'm really disappointed as this was our first time coming to morcambe and it was a waste of time, we usually go to St Anne's but fancied a change, I wish we hadn't bothered. I understand the need to complete maintenance on the park but you should have it stated on the website. Very poor communication.

   Arrived today water park closed for maintenance... no mention on the website and no answer on contact no. Travelled an hour to get here. Had to pay £1,50 for youngest boy to play on park oldest boy wants to go on the park but not play... Still cost me another £1,50. I now remember why we never came back after coming 4 years ago!

   REALLY great fun for the kids - especially on a hot day! there IS a small entry fee, but it's nothing (£1 each?!) - and well worth it! You get an allotted hour, with about 50 mins in the water - which is long enough for the money! Always a GREAT time! If you need a changing room - beware there are only 3! So best to leave the water a few minutes BEFORE the session is over to get one! :)

   Little was a bit unsure to start with but soon found that it was fun and spent a good 40 min running through the spray. He found he could stop the jets by standing or sitting on them which was great fun when released.
