Both my girls attended the nursery. Honestly what an amazing place. Both of them became so confident and creative. The nursery helped prepared them for school. The team is amazing and very caring to all children. Brilliant place for little ones.
I wanted to find a nursery setting that would see the value in nature, and actually take the children into it whatever the weather and this is the place - the children go and visit the common virtually every day looking for tadpoles and butterflies and splashing in puddles. I also wanted a place that was small and like a family unit rather than a business model. This is a small inclusive setting within a community centre, so friendly and welcoming much happier with this setting then the flashy setting my older child went to that didn't have the same level of friendliness. My child absolutely loved her time there doing full time hours, she was part of the family and came out of it confident and happy!
Excellent nursery with really supportive teaching staff. It’s a small nursery which is a huge positive as it enables the teachers to really get to know the children and ensure they receive the care and support they need to become ready for mainstream nursery or reception, nobody gets lost in the crowd☺️
Amazing and caring staff. As my daughter was at the age of starting nursery and we just moved in the area, we went to visit a few preschools to find the best fit. Billesley Ark was the only visit we had where the staff actually interacted with my daughter directly and where we saw practitioners really energetic, interacting and communicating with children and being involved in the activities. She is now been with them for a few weeks and I do not regret my decision, she is always happy to get ready for school and always comes back with a smile and many stories to tell. She is enjoying all the fun activities that are planned in the days as well as the walks they take. It has been great for her social and physical development. The staff always keeps us updated on how the day went and I would really recommend this setting for any parent looking for a nurturing and dynamic environment for their little one.
As a parent finding the right nursery for your child is one of the most stressful things ever. Having a bad experience previously at a different nursery with my eldest two children,I was very apprehensive. After visiting over 10 nurseries a friend recommended Billesley Ark Preschool. I hesitated at first thinking its quite far but gave it a go. After visiting the nursery it ticked most of the boxes that I had in mind. I decided to give it a go. What really impressed me was the settling in sessions and how the staff made it an easy transition. I was very nervous as my child had become very clingly to me and would not let me out of his sight for even a minute. The lovely staff made him feel so comfortable that he enjoyed it. They sent me updates to reassure me.They immediately realised what he activities and toys he enjoyed and made sure that it was available for him. I was amazed at how well he settled in and enjoyed nursery. He looks forward to his nursery sessions everyday and has never refused to go. He always comes home with a smile on his face and happily tells me what he got upto. The communication from the nursery is excellent. I also love that children can bring their own food that they enjoy and are used to. Most nurseries do not allow food from home which can be fustrating for fussy eaters. They provide lots of healthy fruit and even offer breakfast to children which is very generous of them. The staff show alot of love and care for children. I also love that they take the children outside daily to get some fresh air and play. The nursery also has its own minibus that the children have access to. The staff always have well planned activities set out for children to recognise all faiths and events happening such as Chinese New Year, Easter, Eid, Ramadan, mother's day etc. The only regret I have is not sending him here earlier. I would definitely recommend this nursery to every parent. I cannot fault this nursery at all and I am sad that my son's journery with this nursery is coming to an end.
Staff are amazing go above and beyond for families, nothing is too much, always smiling and supportive. Setting is small but that means staff spend more meaningful time with their children and its not too many kids. It's nicely decorated it has lots of natural colours and real items for children to explore.
Both of my little ones have attended this pre school , can’t fault it . staff are Friendly and trusting . Ive always been updated on my child’s development and included in their pre school journey. Would definitely recommend
Great Nursery, not many children ( around 10 - 15 i think ) but loots of activities in garden and inside, everyday I got photos from nursery how my daughter is having fun with other kids. They got their own garden with real plants and when it's sunny they walk in to the park ( it's just behind nursery ) Hours from 9:00 - 15:00
Absolutely amazing nursery! Such a sweet place, full of activities for children to use their imagination. My son has settled very well and that is honestly down to the lovely staff. Very intimate setting which really helped when making the decision to send my son as I knew he would be getting full attention. Would highly recommend.
