Tried Veena’s Green recently and was really impressed! The food is authentic Indian with plenty of rich flavours — definitely on the spicier side, so if you enjoy a good kick, you’ll love it. The curries were aromatic and freshly made, and the portions were generous too. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a nice, cosy atmosphere. Just a heads-up: if you’re not used to spicy food, you might want to ask them to tone it down a little — they don’t hold back on the heat! Otherwise, a great spot for proper Indian flavours in Barkingside.

Good collection of Indian vegetables and other items. Vegetables are fresh and price wise it is okay, little cozy but in spite of that they have enough space. Very good for items of Indian subcontinent.

One star I'm giving for the cashiers who never ever say fhank you, carry stuck up faces and we customers need to say thank you to them, still they don't respond. Please the owner should do something about this, train your staff properly to have manners and customer service. Both the shops.

Today bought paneer from Veenas Green and just noticed it had fungi it and took back to shop and the product expiry date is not visible and shopkeeper asking whether U kept out of refrigerator for long time..which seems to be silly question..it means if not refrigerator for couple of hours will that product will be expired and in deed as soon. As I came from shop I kept in refrigerator and he just take the same product or else take some other product and bit shocked as I was looking to give my children and I see Veenas have a good reputations here and as these are diary products which has high risk should be taken care ..Not Good bro

Very rude behaviour of the person in the store, I asked him for the quantity of a particular item as I wanted to buy more quantity, the person asked me to check myself as I was unable to see the stock I requested him again he told me that you see your self. His behaviour was as if I am begging. Very Very rude.

The mangos are not even edible. They could have made us sick. Absolute low standard of fruits, terrible service too.The man who sold it said they were amazing and charged £20 and great but the dogs couldn’t even eat them. Very poor quality.

Rubbish - food I bought was covered in fungus. IT IS A HEALTH RISK - PLEASE AVOID. It wasn’t even a little off, all of the ladoo were covered in fungi. They had gone rotten. I took them to the manager the next day and he was trying to prove that it wasn’t their fault. He opened up another pack and they were also starting to go off. He couldn’t speak English at all. He just took them in, gave us our money and pretended that nothing bad had happened. SAFETY CONCERN HERE - DO NOT BUY. See pictures as well attached
