There are 2 older haters who are always forcing me to buy something more than 2£. For example if I need just water in the morning i have to go to a different area to buy it because they won't sell only water they want me to buy some chocolate or other poison. But the younger guys don't do that.
I found from beginning Their caster service is very bad. Yesterday (9/8/24 at 21:40) it was very bad experience. I took very small pieces of fresh ginger it’s definitely less than 50 gm. I thought it about 30/40 pence. When I go to the counter they guy in the counter weight it with his hand and tell me £1.40. I was astonished. I asked how much the price? He said, do you want to buy 1 kilo with very bad body expression. When I repeated, he said £5.00 a kilo. I request him to weight it. Then he refuse me to weight. When I give him pressure, he weight (from hiding scale) and tell me 80p. Still it not believable. I’m going to pay him, but his expression is extreme bad. Management should give training customer service to the cashier.
Everytime i go there they charge extra. And they said they gonna charge me extra 30p for card payment and when i paid they charged me 50p and when i asked he said this is the price. Why they told the wrong price and increase price everytime. Going to complaint about their shop. Rubbish service. very inexperienced staff
Customers sending packages has no priority when there is a que of customers buying items. They don't believe in first come first serve. Then you are instructed to put your parcel in a box near the back of the shop where anyone can take the packages. I will follow the rude man's advice and go somewhere else.
Charged me 30p for using my card
The staff are really friendly and helpful. They will do anything and everything they can to help the community it out if needed. Brilliant shop sells everything. So helpful and reliable I wouldn't go to another shop in this area as they are reasonably low priced and handy if I want to top your oyster up or phone or even a drink as they are so kind and lovely in there and so bubbly and chatty. I have been going there for years always lovely smiles in there and makes u feel welcome in there.
Really disgusting people expired products I went to do the weekly train subscription and gave me 20 pounds of Scottish when I noticed I came back to tell him and verbally assaulted me saying that he didn't give it to me and that I wasn't honest.... And more than once they tried to make my husband pay more because they had scored two products instead of one. I'll never go back to buying something there again.
Second time the guy with the glasses charged my double for the drink,doing it specially by scanning item quickly twice :)) he thinks that I didn’t understand that, first time i thought okay maybe accidentally, but second time Can’t be accident, and after not offering the receipt, was last visit there :)))
Extremely rude man behind the counter dealing with my collect+ query. Ordered me to go put the parcel at the back of the store (very unclear instructions) whilst the receipt was printing. Wasn't sure where to put it safely at the back of store so just dropped it quickly into the staff room. I told the guy I put it in the staff room and he had a go at me that I'm not allowed in the staff room. I apologised and he still had a go at me. This guy needs to get off his high horse. Will never be giving them my custom or stepping foot in their store ever again.
