A large park for family and dog walkers. Car parks are divided into three separate area as this park is large with plenty of parking spaces. Children enjoys playing in the playground and there is a small cafe inside the park as well. Very good for hanging out on Saturday and Sunday particularly.
First visit here and for the most, no complaints. Lovely views, decent park, lots of benches and green space to enjoy a picnic. Gorgeous gardens and the lake we went to was thriving. Squirrels everywhere and not shy. Only issue was that after using the pull up weights on the outdoor gym, everyone was stained black. It washed off at home but it wasn't ideal walking round dirty for the rest of the day.

The artificial fountain added a whimsical touch, and we enjoyed treats from the ice cream van and cozy café area. The park’s Green Flag award is well-deserved, reflecting its high standards. Went last Thursday buitiful day and children off school quite busy very disappointing that the fountain is bone dry very sad I would presume that would be a attraction on its own. Quite steep in places hard for myself with walking disabilities.
This is the best park in Bolton because there is some cleaning contrary to the small parks. Huge space which is family friendly during day (I would not advise to be there after sunset - like in every park unfortunately)when there is no animals off leash and young thugs.
Amazing. Big park with a larger playground for kids and teens with swings and many other stuff.
The park its self is beautiful, it was extremely busy. The playground is only good for under 8s it didn't hold the attention of my 10+12 year old for longer than 5 minutes as theres not alot for them to do. There is a cafe and tennis courts. Parking in the park was free too
Well looked after park close to the town centre, perfect for a picnic and nice walk. There is a good sized play area for the kids, a big pond to feed the ducks and plenty of benches to sit. One of my favourite places to go and relax.
