We visited the ice rink and the skating itself was enjoyable, however the experience at the end really let it down. When returning skates, staff repeatedly brought out duplicate shoes and seemed confused about who they belonged to. At one point, two boys were holding the exact same pair of shoes because no one knew who was meant to receive them. A staff member, who I later found out was called Holly, appeared flustered by the mix ups and told a girl beside me to βjust remember who took your skates off you and that will be your shoesβ. She spoke quite sharply. The customer responded calmly and appropriately, asking βshouldnβt the staff remember who took the skates off me?β. The employee then replied in an angry tone, βwe have like 50 people all in our faces, we cannot remember you allβ, before turning her back on us. People visibly reacted to how the customer was spoken to. Instead of apologising or resolving the issue, the staff member stood facing customers just inches away from the desk while talking to her co workers, openly criticising the customer and making her out to be at fault. I approached her afterward to ask her name, doing so calmly and politely. After giving it, she crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows in a dismissive manner, as if the situation did not concern her. The attitude and handling of customers was disappointing. I would not recommend based on this experience. Murrayfield ice rink is a better option.

Just been refurbished, yet no cosmetics have been done. Toilets missing dividers between urinals. Paint peeling all over the place. COVID keep your distance stamps still on the ground. Upon entry to the pool via the showers, strong smell of excrement. In the pool, massive smelly of chlorine and chemicals. Flumes closed, yet still full price entry. Four of our party of six were unwell in the days following. Headache and nausea. Will not be back

Loved our latest visit! Booked in advance as can get very busy. Changing rooms and showers are a bit chaotic when busy but overall place was clean and lovely to see both flumes open again. Whirlpool is a ton of fun, lazy river with slides is great too and the wave machine is fantastic. Didnβt do the big tornado donut slide but kids loved it. They also love the huge water play area (where you can fire water at unsuspecting folk below). Cafe was open again too which was lovely to see (slushies and cakes were hoovered - also has hot food). As other people have noted, do bear in mind it is an old attraction now so it will look a bit worn around the edges and could use a bit of TLC on the rust spots but given its age that wasnβt a major thing for us. All in an absolutely fantastic day, lots of giggles and could have stayed much longer. Would recommend trying to go at non-peak times to get the best of the main features.

Loved the whirl pool (lazy river without the donuts) and the slides but the yellow flume was closed both times I visited. Also the big donut slide was amazing but it lasts less than 30 seconds, wish it went on a little longer. Loved it though, but we just done the waterpark both times - my son wasnβt interested in the ice skating but they have a massive ice skating rink too which I would probably go to with my friends

You can take The Time Capsule quite literally β it really does feel stuck in the 80s. We were quite disappointed with our visit. You can tell the place is getting old β thereβs rust in some spots and a few of the railings felt a bit dodgy. The best slide was shut, which meant the queues for the other two were far too long. For just 90 minutes, the price is way over the top. The only real positive was that there were loads of staff around, and they were all really decent.

Great value for money, plenty for kids to do in the swimming pool. The coral reef for the babies is so warm! Yes the place is run down, yes currently multiple things don't work (big yellow slide, river rapids, big bucket) but it's still a good time. Really can't complain for the price and time you get. Staff were lovely to us. Already rebooked for next time! Xxx

Nostalgic visit! We went ice skating this time, but the swimming zone brought back memories when we popped into the balcony. Really retro feel to the place. It could do with a wee bit of a spruce up, a lick of paint and some basic decorative maintenance to give the place a bit more of a feeling of being looked after. Still lots of fun though and we will surely be back again.

Really great visit. Only one flume was off rest were on, which is great as I visited a few years ago and nothing was available. The faster flume was on which is brilliant. The wace pool was decent and the lazy river is a laugh with small chutes. Lockers were fine and changing areas kept clean

Could be cleaner This place is awesome, however, there is generally always a toilet/urine smell amongst the shower areas, indicating people urinating while showering either before or after a swim. Despite that it's an amazing day out but can be ruined by customers not adhering to the rules. You do get a holiday feel once there, the shoots and flumes are well maintained and always staffed. Bands are given for timed swimmers each getting 90 minutes. Bands provided at the reception area also work for the lockers saving having to carry change for the locker, this is refunded when you had the band back after allocated session. There is a body dryer and hair dryers on hand too

Disappointed with the pool as most of the slides weren't working. We were offered to change the day but that wasn't an option as we were going back to England the following day, however the children did have fun especially with the wave machine. Ice skating was really good and a male member of staff was showing my 5 year old grandson how to skate, he was so patient and lovely with him.
