Expired items displayed and sold Together with 6 households in this area, we have been regularly finding this shop has been displaying eatable items that have expired in the past. After challenging them, we get an excuse the item remains fresh 1 week after expiry. We will report this to the right competent authorities to take suitable action. We urge everyone to double check the quality of the food you purchase from here.

Update; I initially put 2 stars due to untidy atmosphere. Its a really good shop with huge potential for our community. Since my review they have taken this as feedback and improved. I know its hard keeping a large shop clean inside and outside keep up with the good work team you have great potential.

Very welcoming shop owner. I found a wide variety of Indian foods and snacks. Lamb samosas were for sale, which were delicious. I would definitely visit again

You can find nearly everything asian here but price is abit higher. There is a halal meat shop at the back. I wont recommend going there as meat could be not that fresh.

Great Indian/ Asian shop with lots of variety. Free parking around the shop. Also, some good fresh food like samosa and bonda. Also, they have butcher at the back and you get "mutton" which is uncommon. Highly recommended..

Indian grocery shop mostly south indian(tamil). Almost all south Indian stuff is available there. Shop arrangements and cleanliness is not that great because less employees are working there, but it's not a problem. Fresh vegetables, frozen items, wide range of rice options and inside there is a butchery section also, having mixed goat meat and lamb leg, Bone or boneless beef or chicken, Chicken wings with or without marination and Oxtail. There is no price display for most of the items on the shelf. Price is okay except some overpriced items.

If you are within Romford Area, and want a quick authentic Indian groceries, must visit. Small shop but it has everything. They have some particular days when they get their vegetables and they are quite fresh. Recently they have started selling meat as South indian savouries too. Give it a try instead of going to Aklu Plaza. And Parking is FREE

Reachable south Indian grossery shop near my house with very important and useful food products. Can buy most of the items thereby saving fuel instead of going all the way to Eastham or Ilford. Nice parking place inside the gate.
