Met up with some old friends. Ended up ordering some nibbles. Bhaji was very doughy & undercooked whereas the fries were very over cooked & inedible. Sausage roll & calamari were ok. Beer was on point. Waitress didn't give a stuff when told about the feedback.

We had Sunday dinner here and the service and food was excellent, the waiters made a fuss of my young son, I read a book from the library while my son played on the tractor outside and our food came swiftly.. it’s was hot and delicious, I would definitely recommend this pub..

Lovely local pub that's worth a stop. A classic, beautiful and local pub. Drinks on tap were great, the service was excellent and friendly, and the food was good.

Popped in here on Easter Sunday as in the area on the off-chance they would be able to fit us in without a booking. The guy at the door was super friendly and helpful and managed to get us a table. Not a huge amount of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu but what we did have was really good.

Lovely place. Good sized car park. Great selection of food and drink (including gluten free and vegan). My fishcake dish was just delicious. The bill was very reasonable. It was the perfect place to catch up with friends. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

We recently had lunch at the Grosvenor Arms for the first time in years. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. I can't think of a way that it could have been improved. We had the Lamb keema shepherds pie and Braised shoulder of lamb followed by two mini puddings (Tiramasu and Mini sticky toffee pudding) and coffee. The food was all excellent and the service from Steph was great. Friday lunchtime got quite busy but not too noisy and created a nice atmosphere. There's plenty of room between tables so you don't feel on top of one another. With a great menu, great service, and loads of parking, we'll be heading back here soon.

Lovely festive atmosphere to enjoy delicious food served by friendly staff. 3 of us had the turkey dinner which was great apart from the sprouts which were hard. The other 3 had the lamb shank which was, amazing as always. The Christmas pudding was one of the best I've EVER had.

Visited yesterday evening, the atmosphere was lively as usual. Ordered two starters and two mains, the Fish & Chips and the Steak Burger, both were absolutely delicious. The fish was so fresh and perfectly cooked, the burger really juicy. There were a nice selection of ales and wines. Service was good, nice friendly staff including the barman who was very attentive. The building itself is just lovely, very traditional Victorian style with lots of antiquities, books and paintings dotted around. The facilities are immacculate. There are various areas within, dining room, two bar areas (one clearly dog friendly), two little snugs, one with an open fire (which was wonderful last night), an orangery type building to the back with lots of glass. The outside beer garden offers many tables including an undercover area and of course their Brunning & Price signature red tractor tucked in the corner. A wonderful place to visit.

Great fish and chips and an excellent selection of real ale. My wife had fishcakes and loved them. Really good food, warm welcome, speedy and efficient service, and all in a lovely building. Recommended.
