   This is not a safe, professional, or supportive environment, not for staff, and certainly not for the children in its care. The issues begin at the top. The manager displays a complete lack of leadership, professionalism, and compassion. Concerns raised by staff, including serious ones around safeguarding and working conditions , are routinely dismissed. Rather than acknowledging problems or trying to resolve them, management often shifts blame back onto the staff member who raised the issue, creating a hostile and intimidating environment. There is a clear culture of fear and control, where speaking up is discouraged and punished. Unfortunately, this behaviour trickles down. Senior staff often avoid their responsibilities, take advantage of others, and make derogatory remarks about how they are “above” doing certain tasks. Many display a sense of entitlement and a belief that they can act however they please without consequence and sadly, this is often true. Those in management positions allow this behaviour to continue unchecked, while the genuinely hard-working and dedicated staff are left to pick up the slack. These staff members are frequently overworked, undervalued, and pushed to their limits without recognition or support. The nursery is severely understaffed, and what’s more worrying is the imbalance in qualifications. There are more unqualified staff members than qualified ones, which is extremely concerning given the level of care and responsibility required in an early years setting. This has a direct and negative impact on the children, who are often left without the appropriate support or attention they need. Basic tasks and individual care are sometimes delayed or overlooked, not due to a lack of effort by those who care, but because there are simply not enough trained staff to meet the demands. Many staff are left to manage beyond their capacity, while others, often those in senior roles, hand off their duties or avoid them altogether. This creates chaos, frustration, and, most importantly, compromises the safety and wellbeing of the children. It is impossible to ensure consistent, high-quality care in such an environment. Even more concerning are the unresolved safeguarding issues. Numerous safeguarding concerns have been brought to the attention of management, yet there has been little to no meaningful response. Ignoring these kinds of concerns is not only irresponsible but dangerous. It shows a clear disregard for the safety of the children and a failure to follow basic safeguarding protocols. In addition to internal issues, there have been multiple break-ins at the nursery during the night. Individuals have accessed the building and used children’s resources for unknown purposes. Despite these security breaches, no serious measures have been taken to improve site security. This alone should raise major red flags for any parent. The cumulative result of all of this is a nursery that is failing , failing its staff, failing its responsibilities, and most importantly, failing the children it is supposed to nurture and protect. It is not just poorly managed; The environment is toxic. To any parent or guardian considering this nursery, please reconsider. There are far better, safer, and more caring environments out there for your child. You deserve peace of mind when you drop your child off each day. At GBNFC Chinnbrook Centre, that peace of mind simply isn’t possible. Children deserve better. Staff deserve better. And families deserve better.

   Amazing nursery. My 4 year old is very difficult in some aspects and they never gave up and I could feel that they really cared about my sons well being while settling in, having difficulty with settling. Due to incredible nursery staff my son now loves nursery and doesn't even want to leave at times! The nursery uses visual signs to indicate transitioning, some simple sign language to express needs. My son gains more and more confidence each time he goes there, comes back speaking more and learns new things. Lovely nursery and lovely staff.. Would definitely recommend.

   Unsure why there is negative reviews on this nursery. My daughter had a child minder awful experience, she was shaking when I mentioned her name. She wasnt feeding her. My confident little girl was becoming anxious! So I decided to try a nursery after viewing 7 I viewed Chinnbrook and they explained they provide settling in sessions All the staff are very nice, good handovers at pick up and my daughter loves it here. They do loads of different activities and she actually eats well there when she is honestly such a picky eater. So far had a very good experience and she will be staying here until she starts school! The manager Armani is lovely and always answers questions I have. Shamila at reception is always happy and bright in the morning and super helpful too. There has been some new staff start and they have all been nice. My child loves it here and I feel content sending her in to a place she is looked after and has fun!

   I am not usually an individual to write negative reviews, however I have had to on this occasion to make others aware. When initially viewing the nursery, they were very welcoming and showed several really positive settings that would be suitable to children of all capabilities. As my first child has autism, they showed us a sensory room and facilities that would be suited to him. They mentioned that they would take on children of all capabilities and had plenty of availability/ capacity. However once that part was over, we had settling in sessions with my first child who has autism, the staff were quick to dismiss him and mention that they could not facilitate him due to his needs, although this was contrary to what we were informed initially. We asked why they had certain facilities if they were not willing to take on children with specific needs, however they were quick to dismiss this and say that they do but the staff cannot cope. At this stage we left and found a place at another nursery for him. Where it became worse, is our second child who does not have autism, however speech was slightly delayed due to living with a non verbal autistic brother, we tried this nursery again. Same introduction was really positive, and on settling in sessions they rejected him on the basis that they couldn't facilitate him. Right at the end of the session, my son started singing nursery rhymes which made them look at each other surprised that he can actually say a few words etc. It came across that they only like to take on children who are easy to manage and have relatively little to no needs. If you have a child with special needs or not, I would highly discourage even considering this nursery, as they have got facilities to provide and make these claims clearly on initial intro, however just want the easy way out and generate their business. Very disappointed, my wife was in tears as having the first child rejected we understood maybe they couldn't cope, however a second child also rejected was rubbing salt into the wounds, as he is now doing very well at another nursery who were very happy to take him on and he has shown excellent development with no concerns. It really made us think as parents we are doing something wrong in the upbringing of our children, as they were both rejected. Do not be an advocate of nurseries like this! I hope the parents that read/ view this review can support us in making it clear to nurseries like this, that we do not support such organisations that are not inclusive whether as parents we have able or disabled children!

   My child attended Chinnbrook and I can honestly say he thrives in the nursery. He has cerebral palsy and complex health needs. Helen, Pauline and the staff cared for him as if he was the only child there. He was supported in every way and was very happy at nursery. He wanted to stay longer when we collected him at the end of the morning session so we increased his hours so he could have the whole day. Helen ensured that there was training for all the staff around his disabilities so they could care for him properly. Once my child left for school Helen and Pauline made themselves available for support and he even continued to use the sensory room. They supported him through bereavement of a child in our family. Helen and Pauline are both child focused and always strive to do their best for the children. You will find it hard to find such dedicated and caring ladies. Thank you Helen and Pauline for everything you have done and continue to do.

3. Speak to INSPIRE ★☆☆☆☆

   My chil attended this nursery for almost a year. Helen and Pauline the management are rude and they take advantage of parents who's first language isn't english. They received a requires improvement and held a false meeting to say they have an ex Ofsted inspector on their board so the inspection was wrong. Trisha at Ofsted who carried the inspection and I spoke to personally advised me the setting is inadequate for children. Avoid this nursery. There will be no development with your child. The ofsted inspection was done as their own member off staff reported a safeguarding incident. If you care about your child please look for a setting which will nurture your child.

   It was a huge disappointment 1st off all nursery is not clean at all and for the 1st settling day i must thank God i seen them how rude they were with my son they even didn’t even wanted to comfort him at all they acted like i am sending a animal to their nursery and they were try to even tell me that my son has some medical condition because he was crying on his 1st day at nursery in age of 2 I’ll never ever think to sending my kid in such a rude and mean environment
