The FitnessGram PACER Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The test is used to measure a student's aerobic capacity as part of the FitnessGram assessment. Students run back and forth as many times as they can, each lap signalled by a beep sound. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

Now as far as education itself goes, I think its alright. Now the truth of the matter is, the curriculum just doesn't work for the modern day world and needs lots of help but im not here to discuss that, so as far as teaching goes, it is saturated with information so thats quite good. The teachers, well some of them are really good, some a bit worse. You can tell which ones enjoy their job and are good at it and those who haven't their passion and show it in their teaching, though they still convey information well enough. The schedule is interesting: 6 lessons 50 mins each. It does mean the day is longer than in other schools but I suppose it uses time more effectively than a dragged out lesson. The building clearly could do with some renovations but it isn't a huge issue and understandable for an old school. In terms of events and extracurricular activity, it looks good on the surface but as of writing the pandemic is ruining everything so ye, I think its good but I just can't give a good answer. In terms of people going here, there is hardly any bullying, no discrimination, plenty of types of people to interact with and in general its a pretty nice community where everyone knows everyone (except me because I'm somewhat introverted.) In terms of food, well its alright. Depends on what they serve (vegan options available most times) but for the most part it's nice, just don't try the fish and chips, they are plasticy and dry so if you want some then after school go to town centre to the Aldridge Chippy's. The Catholic part of this school is definitely embraced. All in all, its a school I mean what do you expect, its always gonna be a bit crummy to go to. All im going to say is, it is good for what it is supposed to do. Besides, secondary school is just a time where you just do your lessons and get it over with, if you do well on your GCSE's then you are good to go. Do with this information as you please and remember when applying to go here you might not get accepted purely because of your post code because the government cares more about how u get to school than what you want.

My Son has attended St Francis for 2 years now and will be entering Year 9. To be honest this school is wonderful. ALL teachers encourage the children whether its academic, sports, music, theatre or Fair Trade. He has become a more compassionate boy because of the caring ethos the school believes in. Not many children say they love school, but my son is looking forward to the next year before he lives his dream as A Royal Marine.
