Great venue. Staff were very friendly and helped me out finding my admission ticket. Low ceiling, fantastic lighting and sound. I'll definitely be going again.
Was out last night for 1 drink with a friend as we stopping off in Leeds over night. All was good till this one junky looking bouncer started pushing into a wall and kicked the chair out from underneath me. He was acting all hard till I took out my phone and started recording him then he went back to being a NPC. All in all the company needs to invest into better bouncers. Will not be back again.
Not gonna lie, I was dreading coming here for the emo fest. After reading reviews online about awful toilets, terrible bar service and rude bouncers, I went in with low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. The toilets were clean, the bar served cold cans of dark fruits, and the bouncers were super nice! The gender-neutral toilets were great and I appreciated the inclusivity. Though, I think the urinal might be contributing to a persistent smell near the entrance and sinks. Maybe swapping it out for an extra stall would offer more privacy and help reduce potential complaints. I'll stress again for anyone hesitant the stalls themselves were actually very clean.
This was the first time I've been to the Warehouse. It was for the Emo Fest, and it was great. Packed with people, but a great atmosphere. No hassles, no conflict, just a good vibe. The gig was great and the service was quick at the bar. The only slight negative was some of the door staff, who were a tad off, and take a very half hearted approach to the venues 'pat down policy'. Other than that, I had a great night.
Not good if your a woman. Got chanted at by a group of men waiting for the unisex toilets to “Get out” and as we were leaving the cubicle the security guard was encouraging the behaviour against us and trying to make us go back downstairs. Be careful when you walk home from here too girls, we got followed by a man who was waiting outside obviously for young drunk girls. Not the venues fault of course but a word of warning.
Disgusting dirty venue. How this place is able to operate in such a state is beyond me. Arriving just an hour after opening, we were met with a heavily condensated door and the stench of sweat and wet dog. Ladies toilets are horrendous - tiny narrow cubicles, flimsy doors made of cheap woodchip that barely even close let alone lock & urine all over the floor. Thankfully hand soap was in plentiful supply. My husband held it in for as long as he could before visiting the gents toilets - he wasn't the only one complaining about the state of the toilets, apparently there was a puddle of pee that you had no choice but to stand in as you urinate into what was effectively a hole in the ground. Disgusting. Drinks overpriced but staff seemed reasonable and the wait was never more than 5 mins. Probably due to the amount of people clearly on narcotics. I'd definitely avoid this venue in future. I had to have a very thorough shower when I returned to the hotel and my shoes were disinfected when I got home.
Some of the staff here were pretty rude. DO NOT lend your jacket, sweatshirt etc for them to hold as they lost both my jacket and sweatshirt. Music was pretty standard as well.
A bouncer, short with quite a large build and a brown beard groped a girl at the door on her way out. Despite complaints from her friends and others none of the other bouncers acted on it and actually laughed at the situation. Appalling behaviour from all staff involved. If the main perpetrator can be identified he should be fired. Makes us as a society seriously reconsider where to direct our business.
I wouldn't even give it the one star. Me and my friend ordered two different drinks to which it didn't taste right, my friend said hers didn't either so I had a taste of hers and It didn't. We mentioned it the bar man that served us to which he had a attitude about changing the drinks, another bar man came over to help he then changed the drink for us and it taste fine within 20mins I was out of it, bearing in mind I hadn't drank anything before hand I 100% know I was spiked. To top it off when you go to the smoking area outside you cant take a plastic cup outside they tell you to leave it on a shelf with no cup covers it's like they want females to be spiked. Absolutely disgusting clearly I was spiked by the bar man as I didn't leave my drink outside as I refused. Never will be going there again.
Went to the Stoner gig, staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great night and will definitely look out for bands playing there in the future. I'm old school and have read some of the negatives, not sure what some people expect from a venue. I'm there for the music not to spend hours in the toilet looking at myself in the mirror.
