   First Made Cleaners have provided excellent service to my mother's flat in Manchester city centre. Initially I thought I would struggle to find someone to clean in a residential flat in city centre. FMC staff have shown my elderly mum respect and kindness, mum was amazed with FMC high standard of clean. Their professionalism and care for an elderly female have been outstanding. I would highly recommend First Made Cleaners. Their head office staff actively listen to try and meet your need. Thank you FMC. I will miss you.

   We contacted FirstMaid Cleaners as our tenant left the property in a huge mess. The cleaners were doing a great job, cleared out all the rubbish and cleaned the entire apartment thoroughly. Pawel is very responsive and we had a good communication in between. After all we are very happy with the cleaning service they provided.

   very mixed results - but after a couple of years with them i have left. the cleaning quality was mixed. sometimes very good. sometimes terrible. i initially requested 2 hours...they said they needed 4...so i paid for 4....then they started only coming for 3. i only noticed due to my ring doorbell timings. then they started only coming for 2hours and sometimes 1.5. i reported when i noticed but i bet i didn't notice half the time (as i was out). they would refund the overcharge when i noticed it but nothing felt very proactive. i was told "the cleaner thinks she can clean faster than others so did it in half the time but charged full price" as if this was acceptable... when i eventually left by polite email - i was then accused of trying to poach cleaners directly! 1 of the cleaners moaned to me about the company not paying well and said would i mind if she messaged me directly to work that way. i said i didn't mind (and then promptly cancelled their service to avoid this). she did message me and i ignored. i now have a different cleaning company with decent (not perfect) standards but much more trustworthy/nice.

   My experience with First Maid has been fantastic from start to finish. Pawel on the customer care team even moved things around very last minute to fit my clean in. I had a deep clean by Boyan & Ivanka which was 5 stars. They were such lovely people and I can’t wait to use their services again!

   I would not hesitate to recommend the company, they answered my questions quickly, were friendly and accommodating and I felt offered value for money. Abdul was an absolute star, he arrived on time with all his equipment and worked solidly till the house was clean. I had asked for a deep clean for my mothers house which we had sold. He worked for about 7 hours, was polite, kind professional, paid attention to details and I felt really comfortable having him around.

   Do not use this company! They did such a terrible job - I booked them for an end of tenancy clean for my 2 bed flat I recently bought. I had to get them to send the cleaner back a second time, free of charge, because the job was so badly done, and then when he turned up, I had to explain to him what needed "recleaning" because he said he didn't know - despite the flat being very clearly dirty. When he finished the 2nd clean, first maid didn't even contact me to check if it was ok. I also paid extra for the deep oven clean, which was basically just a quick wipe of the door and inside, and loads of grease and crumbs were left behind. Total waste of money, do not be fooled by the professional website and booking system and customer service.

   Absolutely terrible service. I booked a deep spring clean and carpet clean, for a three bed terrace house costing £285. It was £85 for the carpets which were good, but the rest for the deep clean was so disappointing. I was informed downstairs was finished and would I like to check… so much stuff not done as listed in their check list - skirting boards not wiped, cooker hood not done, tv cabinet and bookcase still dusty. I asked for these to be completed. Upstairs beds not pulled out and cleaned, bathroom floor not cleaned, skirting boards not done (again). They’d done a very basic clean at best nowhere near a deep spring clean like I paid and asked for. I’ve asked numerous times to speak to someone and tried calling but just emails and told that ‘they are confident they provided value for money’ even when I’ve told them that they haven’t! Complete waste of money after really looking forward to it!

   I started using FirstMaid in August 2019, after they were recommended by a co-worker who was very pleased with their services. Yes, they don't have a phone number listed on their website, so I wasn't sure what to make of them at first, but since my attempt to book a regular clean with a different company failed, I decided to give them a go - and I've never regretted it. For the last 9 months, Kate has been making our flat sparkle every 2 weeks - she is always punctual, efficient and thorough, and it's nice to have around as she's so friendly and nice. And whenever I have a question to ask, or want to change my appointment duration or skip a session, my emails are answered promptly, so I'm never left wondering. All in all, a great clean and great customer service; I've never been charged more than quoted or had any of the issues mentioned in the other reviews. I genuinely believe the positive reviews are true, and I would definitely recommend you give this company a shot.
