I have been using Merry Maids for a year or two now and have nothing but praise for all the staff including office and the hard working ladies who work non-stop but are always happy and helpful. I recently lost my Wife and asked the team for a extended visit to prepare my house for the number of family who would be staying over. They worked like beavers and left the house sparking. I am not naming any one of the team as that would be unfair as I have never had one who would not be welcome back. Thank you ladies.
Rachel, Paige and Sarah have just finished an end of term deep clean at a seven bedroom student house in Fallowfield. They did a fantastic job and I was extremely impressed by their results. So much so that I had to leave a voicemail message for Theresa immediately they left. I asked that the next time I book cleaners could I please have the same three ladies back now I know their level of performance. Credit where credit is due. If the same team come back I won't have such a sleepless night the night before. Well done ladies, first class.
I've held off reviewing for a few months but I'm constantly reminded of the poor quality service we received from Merry Maids. We requested a pre tenancy clean of a pretty filthy rental house before we moved in - which we thought would be okay because of Merry Maids stellar reviews and the photos on the site showing before and after pictures of even dirtier houses than ours. To cut a long story short: surfaces were still dirty, floors were mopped but the edges of rooms were still caked with grime, the bathroom required further deep clean(s), the list goes on. We even were charged for "extra work" (more hours due to the property's size apparently - we have to take their word this was done as none of us were there) and ended up being charged 100 pounds on top of our quoted price. The house smelled nice I guess, but ultimately, we were played
Two ladies from Merry Maids came to clean my 2 bedroom flat today. They were really polite and i cannot fault them whatsoever. The place looks great, thanks ladies! I would definitely recommend!
£56 pounds for 1 hour 2 maids. Things that were done: Bathroom cleaned-well cleaned One double bedroom cleaned and surfaces wiped 2 piles of laundry folded 30-35cm height of stacked clothes Kitchen surfaces cleaned, cupboards wiped Stairs vacuumed. Living room: very brief floor clean missing large areas Issues: Broken cupboard door Written communication regarding the price heard £36 on mobile but later said £56. Would have been okay with that if kitchen was deep cleaned as requested and if the second bedroom was cleaned. Said would call back on Monday and did not. Ladies were polite.
I have recommended this company to friends as I am very pleased with the results every time they come, twice a month for general cleaning and every 6 months or so for a spring clean. They are very professional, very pleasant and well trained. There is only one thing, because I am a very picky person, sometimes the mopping leaves marks on the laminate floor going against the grain/line. My 5* lady is Kelsey!! Many thanks.
Merry Maids have done a fortnightly clean for us & my mother in law for over 18 months now and I can not fault them! The girls do a great job, are always polite, friendly and professional. Great value and would definitely recommend their service.
