   I wouldn’t recommend this company. It started to go wrong with the assessment visit. Unfortunately the person was 30 minutes late. We didn’t get a phone call advising us of a delay, I had to call the office to find out if they were still coming. Apparently the lady was lost. Following the assessment we agreed to have our first clean. The lady who turned up, was very nice and following the introductions and showing her around, she started upstairs. I would clarify we don’t have a big house. Previous cleaners can do it easily in 2 hrs. The time was agreed in advance by the assessor. To conclude, the lady spent an hour and a half upstairs which left 30 mins to finish the whole of downstairs. In a nutshell the kitchen , dining room and a further room did not get done. When we offered to allow further time , she said she couldn’t and packed up and left. I could accept this to a degree if the upstairs work and what little bit downstairs was thorough. Unfortunately it wasn’t, we found lots of things missed and she had been cleaning around items etc. In fairness to Poppies , following my complaint, they offered to send the cleaner back later that day. We declined on the basis that if on the first visit to a new client , you can’t get it right, why continue with the company. We decided that didn’t want to use them again. I know there are lots of positive reviews on here. I just wish I had been able to do one of them. Overall we were extremely disappointed, we have had cleaners for many years and been very pleased with the excellent work they do. We just felt that we had been sent someone who probably wasn’t experienced.

   We were really happy with services at first but then had a change of cleaners, after the change cleans were unsatisfactory to say the least. We paused for a while and have been trying to re-start our fortnightly cleans, after months of chasing emailing and texting they can no longer offer the service we previously had (2 hour fortnightly cleans)

   Absolutely thrilled with the quality of clean I receive. Poppies worked with me to find the right cleaner and are very open to feedback. Some minor struggles relating to replacement cleans if my cleaner is ill on the day. But much higher standard and easier to communicate and rectify any issues given they are an agency versus my experience of working directly with a self-employed cleaner. Highly recommend.

   I've been dealing with Poppies for a year and I can highly recommend them. Our regular cleaner is punctual, friendly and nice to have around, and does a great job. When she has been on holiday the cleaners standing in for her are all of the above too! The office are easy to deal with, professional but friendly. All in all, an excellent company to deal with.

   My 90 year old mother booked them to visit- she waited in & they never turned up. She thrn called them twice over the next couple of days & left messages but they never came back to her…. Poor & unprofessional

   Poppies are excellent. I had no idea what to do about the hairs that my animals were leaving around my place. I had tried everything. So I called Poppies and within an hour, not only were all the hairs removed, but my home was cleaned, beautifully. Transformed, in fact. So I highly recommend Janet and Annekka - friendly professional and brilliant at their job.
