I had my daughter’s prom dress shortened here this week. The seamstress accepted the shortening job in a short notice and got the job done perfectly and timely. The prom dress has three layers and the lining is super difficult to be shortened however the seamstress is so wonderful and he took all the trouble and effort to get it done. I trusted the seamstress when I saw him and he took my stress away. My daughter and I are exhilarated with his work and greatly appreciate his help and service. Price is good too. Will definitely come back again.

Took a bridesmaid dress here for alterations 2 weeks before the wedding in a panic; they were super helpful, super understanding, and really fast! Made my dress fit perfectly, and they even fixed a broken belt loop for no extra cost, which I didn't even point out. Would recommend!

Another excellent trouser alteration by a very skilled person. Several shirts dry cleaned and I wish all services out there operated as good as Dukes. We will never go elsewhere for our alterations or cleaning. Excellent service and lovely people to deal with.
Best dry cleaning and alteration service I have used in altrincham and priced fairly Heavy lined curtains altered and dry clean. Looked totally different like a new set of curtains when completed. Advice given of best way of altering and completed on time. Curtains so long 400cm and heavy other dry cleaners could not clean but Dukes very solution focused and ensured alterations also facilitated dry cleaning but without compromising in style etc. Definitely recommend for a very friendly, reliable and professional service.
