Tried calling this college a number of times through the last few weeks and keep getting cut off. Not sure how it branded the best college when you can't even speak to anyone.
This college is awful they told me off for wearing a pair of black and white converse when everyone eles in the class was wearing them they reported me for sh when the scares where 4+years old and they kicked me out for having mental health issues and kicked me out the same week I got sent home and had a ambulance called out because I "wasn't attending" when I have alot of health and mental health issues" and they discriminated against me for having a disability where I can't hold top heavy things with out pain 1 of the tutors also used to make comments on my weight and told me everyone would leave me if I didn't gain weight (I had a severe eating disorder at the time ) so please be careful with sending l your children there because I'm not the only one who has gone through this at that college
If you struggle with anxiety or depression or any of the sort, I DO NOT recommend attending. They say they will offer you help but don’t do anything. I have bad anxiety but tried my best to keep attending as much as I could which I explained to them over a phone meeting that they asked for due to my attendance in which they said they could offer counselling or a note for the doctors so that the doctors could take me a bit more seriously instead of dismissing it as teenage hormones or laziness. No one ever came and spoke to me about anything after the phone call and with having anxiety it is hard to confront people. Due to my attendance being so low, they decided to cancel my digital bus pass without warning AFTER I had already attended college for the day (the woman I spoke to for help said to me they had no obligation to tell me OR help me since it’s my fault and I should’ve known) leaving me with only one option of getting home, which was having my boyfriend meet me by bus and pay for my fair back. So now that I don’t have a bus pass, which is the only thing I can use to get there since I cannot afford bus fairs, I am now no longer attending which has left me devastated since there is only a couple months left until my exams which I have been been working hard to pass. I truly have never felt so upset to not be able to attend a place of education, and would usually feel relieved, but I really have tried so hard this year. I wish there was more I could do other than leave a review that will most likely not be accounted for
I attended this college in 2023 and left within a week as I couldn’t stand being there. My partner attended this college from 2023, he did a business level 3 and got kicked out for having a single week off due to bereavement of a very close family member, they then put him on a business certificate course of which he settled to, they then put him on a contract where he couldn’t have a single day off from college, all because he was with his family member in hospital for a week!!!!! He finished this course June 2024, it’s now almost February 2025 and he hasn’t received his results. He’s called over ten times, with no clear resolution in sight, just “we know you’ve passed but we don’t know the exact grade” He has constantly been chasing this up since August when everyone else received their results, and yet still no resolvement. Wouldn’t recommend this college at all. A disgusting lack of sympathy and unhelpful at the best of times.
Absolutely fab! Came to enroll my son after leaving school, very helpful and informative on what’s to offer, enrolled that exact day and found staff helpful and friendly. large building and access for wheelchairs, car park and if you have. A child with special needs you can receive help here too. Fantastic! Definitely recommend this place.
A bit dated but 100% focused services
I work at the college and can see the hard work the teachers, the support staff put into making Dudley the college to go to. An excellent college to study at.
I'm on a two and a half Care work course and enjoying learning all there is to know about looking after people in care and in their own homes They are very helpful and friendly there ,I've given them five stars as it's a good college to learn at .
Did my Advanced Accounting here twice a week on the evenings, there are excellent night courses and part time courses for those of us who are working or have a house to run, the cafe is great and staff are lovely. It's probaly a mad house I the day !!!
