   I recently hosted my daughter’s surprise 18th birthday party at FCC Bar & Lounge, in their downstairs function space, and it was an absolute success from start to finish! I was given access from 2pm on the day, which gave me and the entertainment plenty of time to set up. We had a massive balloon arch, live music followed by a DJ, and even a little photo booth in the corner, it all came together perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the night, making everything run smoothly. The atmosphere was fantastic, and everyone had such an amazing time. The only minor downside is that you do need to take your rubbish with you at the end of the night — absolutely no fault of theirs, as they simply don’t have the space for large bins. We were able to leave it behind and pop back the next day to collect it along with any other items, which worked out fine. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue for such a special occasion, highly recommend!

   I attended the 'Shivers' Halloween theatre event in the lovely new venue, The Constitutional. The staff were really friendly and the performance was really good. What a great new venue and a very welcome addition to West Leeds. I've already booked to attend one of their comedy nights Any chance of putting Tom Wrigglesworth on again? I was gutted to find out that I'd missed him playing in Farsley in 2017.

   The Constitutional is a new club selling a range of craft beers. It holds many events, including comedy nights. It's a fantastic venue and a real asset to Farsley and Leeds alike.
