I have bought cottage cheese from many other polish shops. The same brand- Platanica. For some reason whenever I buy from this shop it didn’t taste creamy but rather dry and sour even though it’s within date. I am not sure how they store it or at what temperature but it dries it out. So not going to buy from this location anymore.

I'm not Polish, but I love Polish supermarkets as they are similar to Portuguese but much cheaper. This one is very good, very clean, a good variety of products, good prices and the staff is very friendly. What can we ask more?! :)

I would like to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Mieszko. On multiple occasions, I've noticed discrepancies in my receipts, where items I did not purchase were added to my total. This seems to be a recurring issue, and it raises serious concerns about their billing practices. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose trust in the store. If you're considering shopping here, I would recommend being very cautious and double-checking your receipts before leaving the store. I cannot recommend Mieszko due to their questionable practices of charging for items that were never purchased. Shop at your own risk!

I’ve been a regular customer at this Polish supermarket for over two years, but I’ve had some frustrating experiences that I feel need to be shared. One recurring issue is that prices on the shelves often don’t match what comes up at the register. Every time I’ve raised this, I’m told that prices are ‘just being updated,’ yet it keeps happening. Another major issue is that I’ve come across expired products; for example, I once bought a beer that had expired over a year ago. When I raised this, a staff member dismissed my concerns, claiming this is how people drink beer in Poland, which was both surprising and unprofessional. Recently, I had another unfortunate experience in the meat section. A tall blonde woman, who seems to have just started working there, displayed a lack of customer service skills. She left her post in the middle of serving a customer to speak with her colleague and use her phone in the back. Then, she mistakenly called back a customer who had already paid, causing confusion, only to realize she’d accidentally put the receipt in their bag. Most of the staff here are polite and helpful, but these instances stand out and have made my shopping experience feel chaotic and unpleasant. If you’re just searching online for a Polish store and don’t live in Hayes, I’d advise finding another shop – management here is quite poor and doesn’t seem to address these issues.

The place where this shop is very convenient is on the High street on Uxbridge Road near a big chain of shops. Near have a car park and bus stops for customers without cars. The shop is big and has a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables row meat and salami. As well here have almost all the polish food from the cakes to the baby's food. This shop is part of my weekly shopping.

I've been customer since 2017. The shop has been changed since new manager ( provably his name Slawek) started working there. Now , you have more space there, most of them items on the shelfs not on the floor. New , kindly staff. Finally, you can see prices for each products. Good change ! Well done !

Great product selection. The shop looks and feel modern and clean. Location is great, however to find free parking is a bit challenging. Prices are great on most of the products. Staff is helpful. The only thing that made me give only 4 star rating is raw and cooked meat handling section. Although the staff is wearing gloves when handling meat, I’ve noticed that they do not change or remove the gloves when operating the till and handling the money. That’s a no no for me.
