My prescription usually comes through within a day or two of requesting. The staff are always friendly and polite. Well done Pickfords.

I have always found the staff very friendly. I had both my covid and flu vaccines here . Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Keep up the good work all of you.

Went to the pharmacy to have my daughter tonsils checked as she had pain and she was struggling to swallow. The pharmacist recommended us an antibiotic after the consultation to my daughter and her condition improved after few days. Very nice to see such a professional team there which definitely beats the local GP I use to go all the time.. Definitely recommend them in the future to friends and family..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local pharmacy, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The pharmacist was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and caring, taking the time to explain my medication in detail, including how to take it and what to expect in terms of effects and potential side effects. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The pharmacy itself was well-organised and clean, creating a welcoming environment. It’s clear they prioritise customer service and community health. I left feeling well-informed and reassured about my health care needs. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a reliable pharmacy with a personal touch.

Since being taken over and changed to pickfords this has been terrible. I ordered my medicine a week ago, a week later I pick it up and one of the medicines isn’t there. Nobody helps me. I try to sort it out and they tell me it’ll be there tomorrow. The next day i ring up before hand to check it’s there “yes it’s here” so I come and it’s not there, by this point I’ve no medicine for tonight which will cause me withdraw pain. Tomorrow I have to wake up make loads of phone calls to sort it out and could be up to 48 hours without a medicine suffering withdraw. EDIT** I’ve rang them this morning, I explained the situation and I was put on hold, was on hold for 15 minutes and I could hear everything in the background, I left it another 5 mins and still could hear background talking so I started saying “hello!??? Hello???” And I could hear the staff saying “is somebody on a phone somewhere or do we have a ghost?” Then another young sounding lady picked up the phone and said “hello are you waiting for something!” I was like yes, somebody is supposed to be checking if my prescription is there. So the young lady said she’d check, she came back and said “yes it’s here but we only have 15 tablets and are waiting for the rest that’s why you haven’t had it yet “ and I said well seeing as last night I had to go without my medicine and am suffering, please can I have the 15 today and you can owe me the rest? She said yes it will be ready in an hour. So we shall see what happens! But this is terrible. So many other bad reviews of people having to suffer withdraw. It’s so dangerous for the body and the staff don’t seem to care or understand?

Medication late and on receipt some missing. Ie box labelled 56 and only 38 in it. I was questioned whether it was my fault and told to count them all before I leave the shop from now on. Update. Still waiting for pain meds. 1 week without them. Withdrawal and horrendous pain

I would give this pharmacy a zero rating but I can't. This Pharmacy has gone downhill in my opinion. The customer service is shocking, there are way too many people in the dispensing area, I've gone into withdrawal from my antidepressants twice now as they haven't got them in. I understand that they are stressed out but Mr McGill never ran the pharmacy this way at all. Coupled with the fact you now have to pay for delivery and the fact that my prescription is never fully completed and the fact no-one ever answers the phone it's just a really appalling pharmacy and I don't see it getting any better any time soon so it looks like I will be going elsewhere for my medication unfortunately as I just can't keep being put in withdrawal.
