   We are a student accommodation in Bolton, and used Barton Direct Services throughout July and August 2023 for our Summer turnaround cleans, of over 100 rooms and kitchens. The cleaning was carried out to a very high standard, and the minor snags we picked up on were quickly rectified. It was reassuring to have the same team on site each day; especially as they were all so punctual and polite. It is clear that the team have pride in their work too, and they all went above and beyond their roles in also pointing out maintenance issues to us. Despite some of the most humid days of the year, the team showed up every day looking smart in their uniform; which made them easily recognisable for our residents still in house, and for our security staff. We were equally impressed by the management and supervision of the cleans, who created a fool-proof sheet to keep track of where we up to and updated this daily. There were a number of fairly last minute rooms added to the cleaning list and these were handled fantastically. We hope to work with Barton Direct Services again next summer and would recommend to anyone in the PBSA industry,

   BAD BAD BAD did not even cover my carpet, completely destroyed it. Also the worst cowboy patch jobs i have EVER seen. The patching in above light switch is PLASTIC CONDUIT buried in wall. Surveyors report stated remove plastic replace with galvanised and skim. Bartons left in the plastic did a BAD skim job and 8 hours later it is falling off. BARTON you owe me a carpet

   If you want window/glass cleaned, then Barton is not the Company you want to use. They do not understand how to do it or posses the equipment to do so. I am left with smudged windows and a refusal to return to put it right.

   Would love to give a better review but was asked to send pictures for a quote and they never got back to me. A simple no would have been fine rather than totally ignoring me, all I asked for was some help,ypu didn't need to leave me hanging like that.

   Poor standards. DEEP CLEAN was a Quick wipe over for £170!.. Lady was complaining They shouldn't have to work around furniture and the property should be completely empty well I wasn't tell that said I should have requested an end of tenancy Clein but on the phone they said it was exactly the same thing how confusing!!! They didn't send the invoice for a long time as they claimed it was going to a different department I had to make several requests they refused to apologise For the poor cleaning results which was like a quick wipe over With two people nice lady on phone booking it though!! The cheery voice of the company. . I requested A partial refund they offered to send them back but Not until a few days later and I would have needed it ready before then. And I cleared the cobwebs and skirting board dirt while I was decorating Anyway. The tenants had left the house dirty with damp round the windows and I had already done a lot of cleaning And had the Carpets professionally Cleaned so the house was pretty clean when they came in. PHOTOS BELOW TAKEN AFTER THE VISIT I thought a deep clean would mean spotless but they didn't do the inside of the cupboards the towel rails heater rail behind the heaters or under them . I was really gutted. before they left I asked them to wipe the Hob properly and they said you need special cleaning materials for that but she had a go. She said the same thing about the windows that were still grime in the corners of the double glazing all it takes is an Ear buds or toothbrush I wasn't available for them to redo it but as I was at work and I shouldn't need to have this done. I was really busy disposing of the tenants belongings decorating etc and I didn't need to have to clean the house as well I didn't have time As well as working Not recommended

   Quick response to my job request to mount a 55 inch tv screen to the fireplace wall. I had bought the type of TV bracket that has tilt and swivel function, and the technician said he hadn't fitted one of these before so with the help of my fiancé who had fitted them before, he did a very good job. The job was also very reasonably priced indeed, was by far the cheapest and best quote I got. I have never used their cleaning services before but may give them a try in the future.
