We've lived in Bentley 11 years now. I. The early days they were really good. Last few years their standards have slipped. Not recieving text messages to say meds have arrived. Not being able to have meds delivered without requesting before hand. Something that is standard with other chemists. In fact it is with Wells as a friend, who lives in another town, has hers delivered as standard. She doesn't have to request each time her meds are due. Meds not arriving for collection on time. My dad is on heart medication and so missing doses is not a good thing. And they'll blame the system, as they do with regards to text messages. Strange, were didn't used to have these issues 11 years ago. We seem to never have the same pharmacist. They're constantly changing. And don't get me started on nobody answering the phone. Or answering and immediately putting the phone down. If it wasn't such a pain, I'd be changing to a different chemist

My recent prescription was sent 20/11. Still not done 12 days later. And they don't answer the phone. Wish I could say this was an isolated issue but isn't need to switch to anyone else

Don’t normally have any issues with this pharmacy as I’ve used them for over 40yrs but over the past few yrs the standards have definitely dropped . When collecting a prescription to be told I’ve already collected it for it to be found when looked for, not been given the full prescription. Always have to check before I leave to find something is missing and they have to go searching for it, rushing from work to collect a prescription before they close at 6pm to find that the door was locked when I arrived at 5.50pm lights are off and people waiting for prescription. Had to arrange to go to work late the next day to collect my prescription to which I was told I had already collected and the manager was rude as I complained about closing the pharmacy before the advertised closing time , I understand they are supposed to have a duty of care and empathy towards customers/patients to be told that they close before 6pm as they don’t get paid after 6pm and I should of been there earlier ………so maybe don’t advertise closing at 6pm if that’s not actually true .

This chemist is always too busy, they take ages to answer calls, rang several times every hour for a full day with no joy. When you do get hold of them, they tell you that your meds will be ready in 2 days and you will get a text, and then agreed to deliver them also. Come the day, no text, rang them all day eventually to be told, yes they are now in stock but no, they can't deliver. It always depends who you speak to as to how helpful they are

if you just going in for something over counter its fine but if you get your prescription sent over from doctors good luck as it takes days to be ready and ive never known a head pharmacist to take a 2hr dinner while people are waiting for their prescriptions. not acceptable at all

I have to go to the chemist to get my methadone once a week where I feel I am treated like a second class citizen. I'm waiting over an hour to get my medication my key worker has informed me that my medication should be ready they're ready waiting for me!! There seems to be plenty of staff and yet I am ALWAYS kept waiting a minimum of half an hour. What annoys me is people coming in after me getting served before me. Then on top of that the pharmacists is passing me my methadone in a plastic cup in front of a shop full of people which I found highly embarrassing and very rude. I immediately tell the pharmacist could we go in the side room away from customers where there is privacy! There is a lot of stigma attached to the taking of methadone. I certainly don't want people in my village knowing I'm on methadone. I have done feel I am treated differently from other customers just because of the medication I'm on.
