   I have been shopping at M&S in Sutton for years, I just want to say how amazing all their staff, I have never had one bad experience. All the staff who I have encountered have an excellent customer service approach, well done to you all x

   One of the worst Marks & Spencer branches I’ve visited. I’ve been overcharged on food items several times — the price charged at the till is often higher than the price shown on the shelf, so you really need to check your receipt carefully. The staff are generally not very welcoming or helpful and often seem uninterested. In particular, one lady at the self-checkout tills was rude and treated customers as if they were thieves. Shelves are frequently understocked as well. I used to shop here every day, but I now avoid it and take my money elsewhere.

   I go in to buy a sandwich, I'm looking in between the £6 sandwich, or something a little more reasonable. Then I spot a cheddar blank. My god ,m,s,used to do nice food, this debacle had what could be described as a cheddar, but uuugggh they've slapped a load of axel grease all over it. They call it margarine, but come on 'it's vile .

   On 13 November, at about 6:45, staff Joan treated us with the worst attitude. Just leave the store and couldn't help typing it while walking home. We were trying to pay with a gift card at the self-serve till, and she came over to offer help. She saw our card and moved us to the other till. She tried to swipe the gift card but it didn't go through, she kept swiping it hard which left my card with lots of swipe marks. She started her impatient attitude, throwing the card reader, making “tsk” with her mouth, murmuring What's that(she meant the card). And my partner and I could definitely feel her impatient and impoliteness. That was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Sutton High Street. It wasn't busy, we weren't being impolite to her, could barely believe it happened in the M&S. We were about to pay by card but we felt humiliated and we ended up giving up the purchase. Nobody could experience customer service like that. We are not thieves and didn't do anything wrong.

   I went shopping for my husband’s outfit for work party at M&S Sutton. Shop assistant, Selina was amazing. She helped me choose the colour of the shirt that matches the blazer I’ve got for my husband. Helped me order the trouser to go with the whole outfit. Superb customer service! Thank you very much Selina!

   Poor service today in the MS Cafe. Understaffed and practically nothing available from the menu, including baked beans for the jacket potato. When questioned why they couldn't just buy some from the MS Foodhall downstairs, the response was, 'we can't do that.' Absolutely no shame, management needs to step up and find solutions.

   At M&S Sutton yesterday, my wife was abysmally treated by a member of staff who was more interested in a private chat with a mate than serving. When Fay asked her for directions to a department, this woman gave her a filthy look and pointed without so much as a word before returning to her chat. Is this acceptable to you? Sadly, we don't know the employee's name but can you ask all your staff to behave with courtesy to customers in future? If not, you will lose them and deserve to.

   Mostly a nice and pleasant store, in the middle of an otherwise inauspicious high street. Been shopping here for years. Two current negatives, though: the current choice of mens jeans appears quite limited (although that is probably more a reflection on the state of global supply chains) and for reasons unknown, they have stopped selling suits and formal wear, which now means that if you want to try on a suit, you'll have to trek to either Croydon or to Kingston.

   Very good prices for casual clothes on promotion, a wide selection and a wide range of colors. Professionally trained consultants who help to solve problems quickly, help people with special needs to shop calmly in their store, smiling and kind, calm and responsive. Good choice for shopping. I recommend!
