What great service, they helped my boy pick the right board for his size, gave some great advice and built a custom board just how my son wanted it including custom grip.
Ordered Adidas tracksuit top and trainers online, arrived 2 days later and great products. Top was a tad big so dropped it back in at shop and was exchanged straight away no fuss. Great customer service and some nice gear in the shop for you skaters. Give these guys a go :-)
I really like welcome skate store, they have a huge selection of decks and all types of trucks and wheels etc to cater to different styles of skating. They have a great clothing/ shoe shop too for all the current skate brands. I have had the manager build two setups for me so far and he was really helpful for a guy who hasn't skated in 20 years getting back into it and what is good with what but also listened to what I wanted and gave me choices I've been super happy with everything I've bought there so far and I'll only go back to them. Here is the setup I got today. I think it's really cool.
had a very good experience buying my first board today, very helpful and nice staff, shop is really nice vibes and have a great selection of decks, clothes and magazines/books.
I googled their reviews firstly and all looked fine! I found their website easy to navigate through, and I liked the option to filter which board size I wanted. I then went into the store as I wanted to touch and ask questions. Being a newbie I needed to see and understand what board shapes there were and to get the correct one for my use. Wheels "so many wheels" and I didn't know the bearings came separately! Each time I went in (I went in 3 times lol) I was served by a lovely gentleman called Martin (I hope I spelt your name right). I mentioned what I needed a board for and Martin was very happy explaining everything to me, if I needed to ask something, he gave me space to ask questions and didn't deviate when answering. Martin put my wheels together, he put them on the trucks and when I purchased a board, he then put them on the board too,**outstanding service**. Martin even put my stickers on for me when asked, I didn't say at the time but I have shaky hands, I would have never got them on! My Experience in 4? words...good stock, polite, knowledgeable & good service. Thank you Martin for an enjoyable experience.
We indeed felt 'Welcome!' Minnie helped my son pick out a board and one for his friend that we were taking back to Cyprus. She was very personable and professional. Although the shop was fairly busy, she still took the time to help us pick out the best set up for both my son and his friend. Having grown up in California, myself, this was one of the best skate shop experiences I've had. Thanks! Minnie - Sorry that it has taken me so long to post this review! :)
I’m from Leeds and wasn’t aware we had a local shop until I came across this one.. I bought my first skateboard from here.. the guys shipped it out the next day and it arrived the following day via the courier. Packaged really well. It’s my first time skateboarding I’m sure I’m going to be back here. It’s a great store wish it had more exposure it’s quite hidden in my opinion. If you can buy local don’t hesitate it’s good to give back. Excited for my skateboarding journey
Came in for a present with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The staff were extremely attentive and helped massively with getting in and out with the wheelchair. Staff member Minnie helped us so much essentially going through all the clothes they had explaining each brand and the styles they represent as well as making great recommendations based on the skating style of the person we were buying for. I’ve used this skate store many times and it’s always a great experience reasonably priced and very friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend
I haven't touched a board in over twenty years and I was amazed at how much had changed. The staff were super friendly and their knowledge was excellent as was the customer service. If you thinking of jumping back on a board pop in here.
Awesome shop! Great stock, super helpful staff and easy to navigate website. Had to return a item as it was too big and the team couldn’t have been more helpful.
