    Consistently stressed-out and unfriendly staff. I kept giving them my custom because despite the narrow constrictive aisles and general brikabrak layout of the shop and health and safety hazards always strewn about, I like to try support local shops and give people the benefit of the doubt. However, they often have sale items which they constantly miss-calculate at checkout, and they often overcharge for items, leaving me in an awkward potion, and finally, once, when my baby accidentally brushed a badly-placed glass jar on the shelf, knocking it down, as I tried to move for another customer (extremely narrow spaces!) they immediately demanded I pay for it with no discussion or opportunity for friendly offer on my part..(bearing in mind that there is no strict legal obligation for a payment in such a scenario). I have been completely put off now and will always use the other options for supermarkets on Broadway Market- where there is value placed on loyal regular local customers.

    Said they open at 6, it was past 6am and made up an excuse for me not to enter. I go back to the bus stop where a man has been following me, then proceeds to attack me and I scream and these workers do nothing. I will never forget this

    When I was in the park , I visited 3 times and the Servlce was amazing each time . The staff was always helpful and there are a lot of choices from fresh fruits to fresh vegetables, cold drinks to world food . It was a sunny Sunday so you could imagine how busy day for them with the market and the park but the staff was still smiling . I highly recommend

    A large white van or car is used to unload goods to this store illegally everyday. Parents, school staff and Hackney Council officiers and councillors have told the owners to stop this practice, yet it still continues. There is no concern shown for the local community or the many school children who have to walk around the illegal pavement-parking and onto the road. An accident waiting to happen. Avoid shopping here until the owners become responsible and start caring for their community.

    The pavement is blocked every day for years here by cars and vans unloading groceries into this store - which means kids and parents trying to get to/from school have to walk in the road. When told about it by parents we just get abuse in return. Please don't shop here until they mend their ways!

    Amazingly varied selection of fresh vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, tinned goods, dried foods and more sold by incredibly friendly and knowledgeable owners. You have much more selection and a higher quality of produce than in your local Sainsbury's or Tesco's and at a reasonable price from a local.
