Really kind workers here but unfortunately I can’t shop from them any longer. They charge about 30% more than others for the same items. :(

Excellent local corner store - clean, well organised and with a great range of products. I really appreciated the lovely, large awnings providing shade to the produce. Very smart addition as it protected the fruit and veg, looks great and helped to keep the store even cooler (there's ac inside) on those hot, hot summer days.
i bought 3 items, was confused with the price coming to 14 pounds. my mother went back and turns out it was all just 6 pounds. they gave the money back, but that was just awful, will never go there again.
Always great fruit and veg (and not wrapped in plastic.) Large tomatoes smell beautiful on the vine. Avocados are always ripe. Large bunches of fresh coriander, parsley, dill. Oyster and button mushrooms. Grains. Icecream. Alcohol and no alcohol beers. Friendly staff, open long hours. Grateful to have them as our local shop.
My wonderful shop which was closer to where I live sadly closed. I went to Deren on the advice of friends. I find the staff very helpful. I don't expect staff to always be chatty but if I need help and I ask then I am helped and it is never unpleasant. I find the staff quite friendly. The range of interesting products is very good and the selection of produce and fresh herbs is excellent. The prices are quite competitive. There are some fresh fruits that are available that cannot be found elsewhere in this area, such as quinces, persimmons, etc. I visit this shop when I can as it is quite an exceptional shop.
