Today I went to Lidl to buy a packet of chocolate which cost only £2. There was a Romanian lady at the till serving another customer. I placed my chocolate on the counter in the same line, and she scanned my item as well. I told her that it was mine, and she said, “Okay, no problem, you can pay for this.” When I paid, the payment went through for the previous customer’s bill, which was £35 instead of £2. Then she started speaking to me rudely and said in a very creepy way, “Why are you paying £35?” as if it was my fault. Her behaviour was very rude and unprofessional. If she was tired, she should have taken a break instead of wasting other people’s time and speaking rudely to customers.

Self checkouts with intrusive screens recording faces, self checkouts card only otherwise wait ages if you want to pay cash even if it's one item. No signs stating till is closing, no notice when new till is opening and they don't give priority to the next customer on the next till who still have the items in their trolley, instead let people come from behind who get served before you. Staff say stock is all out when asking for a stock check, this maybe true, but comes across as if they can't be bothered.

Popped in as I wanted to get a real Christmas tree. They had different sizes however the size I wanted was tied up in the wooden crate. Thanks to Dan who came out and helped me grab one out! Also a steal at £16.99!

Very good improvement over the past few weeks. Store feels more organised, shelves are stocked better, the only problem is in the evening there is no much choice for freshly baked items but overall bakery is always fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and queues move quicker than before. A much better shopping experience now.

I had a great experience at Lidl Hainault. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to shop in, which made my visit really enjoyable. The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly and helpful throughout. A special thanks to the manager, Lilia, who was very responsive and went out of her way to assist me. She was approachable and made sure I got everything I needed with a smile. Shopping here is always a pleasant experience thanks to the great team and the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I love the fact that they have their bakery right at the front of their shops.... They sell the biggest jam doughnuts, which are packed with jam ..beautiful.... Lidl is just like any other branch, they offer fresh, and frozen items, aswell as children's clothes, shoes etc... You name it,they sell it

The queues are getting so long, that people get aggressive and unreasonable with each other. It's too dangerous to be there. Most unpleasant low life shopping. Feel sorry to staff and the nice customers. Never going back there again. 3 cashpoints unmanned, 3 only working on a lucky day, but they won't get the self check outs due to lack of room.

Went the day before Xmas Eve so very busy. Good value but not much meat with long enough dates nor bread wise. Queue was a little long but of course it would be since it's 2 days before Xmas.

All household baking, cooking and essential needs stocked to maximum. Well spaced isles with sections we marked to ease flow of traffic within the store. Super ample packing lot

My mother was very happy with her experience at the new Lidl. She managed to get there on opening day and pick quite a lot of vegetables at very reasonable prices. There were smiles all around, it was like everybody received what they wanted for their birthdays. I've never been to a new store opening before and this was quite an event. I did see it mentioned in the paper and my mother made sure she got there. Keep up the good work and the excellent customer service.
