   Alluring on the nose but terrible aftertaste! I felt they took advantage of my beginners (lack of) knowledge to sell me whisky for significantly more than you can buy elsewhere... I paid £190 for three 'special' bottles I later found I could easily buy elsewhere for £110. I felt lured into this by the promise of "buy 3 get 4th bottle free" and that they failed to clearly display the prices. Silly me. Never again. This all felt totally unnecessary as the proprietor clearly displayed a good knowledge of Whisky and has a great selection.

   The owner / worker was very nice and knowledgeable about the stock and informed me of offers they were running. Prices of some things can run higher than other places so be prepared for that. They have beers I can't find anywhere else.

   Good selection of wine and spirits. Owner said he was giving me 50 pounds off a 150 pond bottle of vodka that I later found out was 70 pounds everywhere and nearly doubled the price on a bottle of cognac. Gave 2 stars since it's on me too, don't tell shopkeepers you're not local and know what you're buying

   I was looking for a treat for my husband. The owner was very helpful. There was alot of choice and he had some good deals on. He took my number and will let me know new products ready for taste testing. I couldn't decide on a whiskey so I will be bringing back my husband tommorow to pick one out. Highly recommended. Something for everyone

   The best experience I have had in a shop! The gentleman who served me was extremely knowledgeable, able to provide recommendations, I was able to try some drinks before I brought them. The shop has so many varieties of drinks, all amazing quality at good prices. Thank you so much, I will be back!

   OK for occasional purchase, however beers are generally two to three times cost in comparison elsewhere- with only ~4 week shelf life - be careful as you may end up with out dated products - they basicity sell stock that no one wants - check the date on bottles first!

   A great shop offering a selection you won’t find anywhere else. The owner had an encyclopaedic knowledge and was very helpful with finding the perfect birthday present for my friend, and a few bits for myself. Good to know places like this still exist! I will definitely be back.

   Leaving this review on behalf of my husband. He is a huge craft beer & whisky fan and has loved having this little shop nearby. We have enjoyed the free samples of different gins which is so helpful when deciding which big bottle to buy. Had a few ‘emergency’ bottles of champagne at Christmas too! The owner is always so friendly & helpful and always gives a 5 star service on visiting. They always go out of their way to make it a personal experience with recommendations and tastings. Thank you!

   My second time visiting this shop as my friend lives nearby and highly recommended coming.... and I definitely agree! The shop assistant, who I assumed is the owner, was incredibly knowledgable about his stock and about spirits in general and I felt welcomed but not pressured to buy anything. I had free samples very generously given, and it was the closest experience to being in a bar I’ve had in months! They have an amazing selection of drinks and some very high quality spirits. I went in for gin and being an avid gin lover I was quite surprised at just how varied and enticing their selection was. I would highly recommend visiting this shop!
