I've been shopping there for years, on a daily basis. The store is always well stocked, with a wide variety of essential items, and prices are very good.
I've fallen back in love with this shop since Wilko's has shut. They've also started selling adult art materials and the range looks excellent. I can't afford expensive art materials so I will try these out!
While we were walking in the town, we thought we would pop in. The store is small and doesn't have many products you would find in a B&M store but it has the essentials. The staff was helpful too. There is no parking nearby but it's in the middle of the town centre.
Great shop, some real bargains, but I don't like the jumble sale feel. Great shop though
I get so frustrated with poor labelling. It should not be hard to ensure products are correctly labelled. Also In this day and age when we have to make our money go as far away we can. We should expect the label on the shelf to correspond with the item being sold, so that we can ensure we can pay when we get to the checkout and not be embarrassed. I took an item which I thought was 1.49 from the shelf only to be charged 4.99. When I queried this I was taken back to the shelf where the wrong pricing was for the wrong item. In fact the correct price label was covered up with another paper label and was nut visible at all. The assistant to her credit did really apologise. However she also said that the labelling is sometimes wrong, well to me as an assistant of the shop, she is "they" and she should be ensuring it is put right. Thankfully I did have enough cash on me to pay. Please have a bit more respect for the customer, and more pride in your work and have items correctly labelled.
Great place for a bargain. Kitchen essentials, dog treats and toiletries always well stocked and varied. Must visit when in Ashton.
I personally find the store claustrophobic but there are always well stocked shelves great value products even items you cant get elsewhere on the high street so easily
Friendly staff decent prices to, just near Ashton market.
