   I had a very unpleasant experience at this Co-op branch today. While shopping with my spouse, I was placing items in my own bag as I usually do, intending to take them out at checkout to scan and pay—something I’ve done for the past four years without any issues. However, a blonde English woman staff member abruptly handed us a basket without any explanation or politeness, effectively ordering us to use it instead. There was no request, no courtesy—just a blunt and dismissive action. This felt extremely insulting, as if she assumed we were trying to steal, despite us doing nothing wrong. It was degrading and discriminatory behavior, and I find it completely unacceptable. If you work in customer service, basic human decency should be a given. I’ve never encountered such treatment anywhere else, and I sincerely hope Co-op trains its staff to be more respectful.

   I bought 2 orange juice cartons, the Co op brand and when I got home to try it, they both were off. My boyfriend was sick from it, the smell coming from the carton was disgusting. It was obviously left out for a while... I went back to tell them maybe get an exchange or refund, and when I did see about a replacement the cartons again were off! They didn't even check the rest of them in the fridge before i left. I'm not going to trust anything I buy from Co op from now on. Also the store is so filfy. I'm absolutely disgusted.

   The baskets that you put food into are absolutely filthy, the co op in whalley Range also has filthy basket’s, they look like they’ve never been cleaned, such a simple job to do as well, it really let’s the store down.

   The staff always go out of their way to help and make sure you get everything you need. The shop is always clean and there is always a member of staff stacking the shelves whenever you go in.

   Nice shop and very friendly and helpful staff. More like a community cornershop than a big branded retailer. It is great to have them round the corner. Everyone from Managers, staff and Security Guards are totally awesome.
