   We had a lovely evening here and thought the staff were so welcoming and kind! We paid £92 for a cheese/meat board, and 6 glasses of wine/bubbles. They also let us try a different wine and a salami. I really liked that you could pick the cheese (3 types) and meat (2 types) for your board, making it feel personal and different to other wine bars. Would recommend!

   Fabulous choice of wines, cheeses and deli food with tasting packages available to suit most budgets. Knowledgeable and friendly owners and staff, very nearly matched my favourite french cheese Bresse Bleu so we'll definitely be back.

   Charged me £224.97 for 3 bottles of Veuve Clique which should have been £50 each (checked Waitrose price afterwards) so he effectively ripped me off by a total of £75. I was in a rush as they were presents for a party and I sensed he was up to something in the way that he took my card. I am a local and have used the shop fairly frequently so will never use it again as he is clearly just dishonest when the opportunity arises

   Decent choice of wine and cheese...But the rudeness of the shop assistant was too much. Who do you think she is ? Spent over £200 on wine and cheese. That person in not good for business. Sadly I will NEVER go there again .

   Sadly won't be going back. After realising we had no wine in the house with after dinner guests coming back to ours, I rushed in to a busy Liquorice store (wine tasting evening) to purchase 2 x bottles of Meursault or equivalent. On entering, I was immediately told I could not be served for 10 minutes! Really....? Business must be good? I will now take my custom elsewhere.

   Went to Liquorice as a little treat for my birthday. We've never been here before but it looks inviting! Had a wonderful evening. Staff were attentive! Glass of bubbles for my bday, delicious cheeses and nibbles, great host, John, who was chatty, knowledgeable but not overbearing and delicious wine! Can't wait to return with the extended family for more wine tasting!

   Spent a very relaxed few hours at Liquorice with my wife a few weeks back enjoying a wine tasting bought as a Xmas present for us. The owner talked us through a selection of wines accompanied by various cheeses from the walk in cheese larder. Highly recommend the tasting or just visit for a glass with plenty to purchase.
