   Bedroom Furniture. In September 2024, I stumbled across Impact K & B and started discussing bespoke bedroom furniture for our new home in North Wales (supply only). Having finally moved at the end of 2024 we tweaked Ian’s plans to maximise each of seven wardrobes, bedside cabinets and a desk/vanity unit. We picked up the flat packed wardrobes and pre built drawer packs and I cannot stress the outstanding quality of each item all supplied at an extremely competitive price. Any queries we had (I am a diyer) were quickly answered by either Ian, Sarah, Elaine, Josh or Danny. Their patience was welcomed as they clarified the process for fillers, scribes etc. I requested some extra pieces of decorative filler and these were supplied at no additional cost. Their excellent service combined with a quality product made us do a u-turn from a kitchen remodeller in Chorley. I’ll talk more about this in my Kitchen review (to follow). Ian & Lesley Banks.

   Had to new reline all kitchen cupboards. Started to delaminate mid of 2021 after fit in 2015. Very extensive damage was repaired at our cost beginning 2022. Full delamination forced brand new doors 2025. Out of warranty and no gesture of goodwill. Impact have likely profited early from many customers because of this problem. Fitters are lovely, but the owner's attitude is shocking. Shame on a local company that has such poor morals.

   This is the 3rd bedroom I have had fitted from Impact. The work this time included removal of old fitted furniture, plastering, electrics, sliding wardrobes, draws, bedsides and vanity unit. This is all high quality furniture. The finish is amazing and more importantly the team are all happy, nothing too much trouble and they clean up after themselves. I’m very impressed with the entire end to end service.

   Profesional response to a minor fault on cupboard (caused during manufacturing) developed slowly from the fitting of the kitchen over 10 years ago !!. The kitchen is now as good as when first fitted. I dont think you can get better customer service.

   Chose impact after 3 different people recommended them. Had some fitted wardrobes put in... **Selection & Design - very flexible and weren't "salesy". Gave us what we wanted and threw in a few ideas, but very personable overall. Reasonable price compared to other quotes we had. **Installation - On-time, professional, the guys that came were extremely friendly and polite, cleaned up after themselves, and great attention to detail with regards to the installation. Quality seems good and sturdy. Already recommended them to a friend.

   We had a kitchen fitted in September 2017 and were so pleased with all aspects that we went back to have 2 fitted wardrobes made and installed in April 2018; this in itself speaks volumes about the quality of the work. They didn't even want a deposit in advance! This is a local company who take a no-nonsense, no fuss approach to designing and fitting kitchens and bedrooms to a very high standard. Ian's thoroughly professional approach to design is really appreciated as it gives you confidence in the work that will be done. He also has very good ideas to help you get exactly what you want. The team that fitted both our kitchen and bedroom were great; they were a pleasure to have in the house! Our house was treated with respect while they worked and they cleaned up properly at the end of the day! Clearly, the lads in the workshop probably don't get the recognition they deserve but it is clear that their work is of a very high standard and makes the fitting as straight forward as possible. Sara and Elaine provide great support in a friendly yet professional manner and were a great help in offering ideas and setting our minds straight when we asked questions. We cannot praise them enough for the work they have done for us and we can recommend them without any reservations at all. If you want a kitchen, fitted bedroom or bathroom then this is the place to go for quality workmanship and peace of mind. A great local company who operate nationally.

   I wish to write my own review on Impact, as Paul Andrews' wife and to Sonya's review and her review on my husband. I am going to post this review from my own personal experience. Firstly, can it please be explained why the sign stated "open", Impact's website states 9am open and there was customers in the showroom yet you state you only open at 10am?? I feel I am a patient person and do give the benefit of the doubt, so I could see the member of staff was with a customer but I did feel quite ignored/we "shouldn't be there". I've worked with the public in previous jobs and would always make sure they felt welcome and that I would be with them as soon as I am free. There is nothing worse than waiting around without being given a timescale or at least acknowledgment that you are going to be seen as soon as possible. Sonya, as soon as I knocked on the glass door your husband looked over, regardless whether he wears glasses or not his hearing must be on point?? As a customer it would have been polite if you'd have informed the staff member that you could hear knocking. Or did you feel you should be the only customers to have been there?? Other showrooms we visited that day were very busy but the members of staff acknowledged us and made us feel our custom was wanted. They explained they would be with us as soon as possible but pointed us in the right direction in the first instance. Your review should have just been about your experience with Impact and the service you received. It is Impact's responsibility to reply to reviews and defend themselves should they feel necessary. We just felt that the customer service could have been so much better. Unfortunately our experience wasn't, yours was so in future just write your own review instead of getting personal about another customer in detail. As a person who works with the public then she should have acted more professional to my husband's "behaviour" when leaving and at least try and make us believe her apology was sincere, which is definitely was not.
