Very, very disapointed with the two so called 'mother's day' hand tied bouquets that eventually arrived 8hrs after they were meant to! The cost of the bouqets were £29.99 with a £5 delivery charge. So in total, roughly £65. I ordered the bouquets for my wife and mother to arrive at 12 oclock. They did not arrive at 12 but at 8pm at night ! We as a family were going out in the afternoon so expected the delivery to be roughly on time. We gotback home at 5.30 to find there had been no deliveries. So i then rang up the shop, where surprisingly they were still there. But they said the deliveries hsd not yet been made and were sat on the van. I was promised they would be delivered as soon as possible. 2 1/2 hrs later, they turned up ! For the price i paid, i was expecting nice big bouques with plenty of flowers ? I was sadly wrong ! The bouquets contained 11 flowers each with a bit of greenary. But when they arrived, some of theflowers were wilted ! (I have photographic evidence) Luckily for me, my wife used to be a florist and knew what to do to revive them. The driver said they hadhad some problems but no appology was made. So today, i rang the shop and spoke to the manager. That was a waste of time! I was fobbed off with numerous excuses and would not listen to what i was saying. There were no appologies or acknowledgement that anything was wrong ? Eventually, i just decided before getting anymore annoyed, to tell the manager that i would not be using their shop again. This is a real shame as i have used this florists for many years. But i just feel totaly conned and it has certainly left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Acacia flowers are my 'go to' florist. They have beautiful and exotic flowers which they make into gorgeous arrangements and I always get my Christmas wreath from them, even when I take it down it still looks as fresh as when I bought it. The girls are a delight to talk to and are so considerate when it comes to making my flowers. I use them all the time and would definitely recommend them.
I've had some wonderful bouquets from Acacia Florists, they are always professional yet personable and are quite happy to create floral displays to my specifications. The flowers must be really fresh because they last for ages. Would definitely recommend them.
