What a fantastic workshop delivered by Katie. We had a huge group, all different levels of ability, and Katie managed to pitch it perfectly. Everyone left smiling and the feedback from the team has been amazing about how much they enjoyed it and laughed! We will definitely be returning
I arranged a team building day with Dance Studio Leeds for. a Line dancing session for about 22 people. From the first email my request was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Originally there were no studio space available so they searched for an alternative venue which they found at a very reasonable cost however they managed to swap studios around and fit us in . We are a mixed aged team and some of the team thought it would be for "older " people how wrong they were . Our teacher was fun and showed us moves that had us all sweating ! The studio was full of laughter and our team thoroughly enjoyed learning new dances with some pit bull tunes added in which went down a storm ! The cost was extremely reasonable and I can honestly recommend and. Give a 5 star review . Anyone trying to think of a fun team day then give them a call . Our team all dressed up and it was such a fun morning .Thank you Damce Srudio Leeds !!
Firstly, we are not dancers of any sort or even thought we would enjoy the experience BUT thanks to Holly that changed! Not only was our first dance a dream to do but family & friends were extremely impressed with it!! Alongside this, Holly was amazing. To the point where when we finished our lessons we were sad to say bye to her!! She made us feel comfortable and we actually looked forward to the lessons!! Holly you deserve a pay rise, thank you for being such a big part of our special day xx
We absolutely loved working with Holly on our wedding dance! She's incredibly high-energy and attentive, making every session fun and productive. Holly didn't just teach us steps; she truly crafted our first dance to perfection and gave us so much confidence. We're so grateful for her fantastic guidance! Looking forward to attend your lessons again!
My other half and I booked dance lessons for our "first dance" on the run up to our wedding. We had 3 lessons with Holly and she was absolutely fantastic. Holly choreographed our dance and it was perfect. It had the wow factor without being too complicated for two people who have never danced before! Holly was so patient and made the lessons really fun and made us feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend DSL. We only had the 1 to 1 sessions but there were group sessions on in other studios at the same time and everyone looked to be having a great time, the whole place just has a welcoming feel to it! On a side note, if any couples are toying with the idea of dance lessons on the run up to their wedding, I absolutely recommend it, its great fun and something a little different to do together. Thank you to Holly for doing such a fantastic job and helping to bring even more magic to our special day.
Anna was amazing in the beginners ballet - patient and encouraging she had a great way of teaching that allowed the steps or style to be understandable. I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and will be signing up for more when the course finishes!
Our three wedding dance classes with Katie couldn't have been more excellent. Even though we are not dancers she put us immediately at our ease and the dance classes flew by. She listened carefully to the ideas we had and put together a beautiful choreography. We love the song even more than we did and are looking forward to our first dance, rather than finding it daunting. We are even thinking of taking up some kind of dancing as a hobby! The Tap Fundamentals course was well worth the wait, and well worth the price. I've been wanting to learn tap dance for some time, and while there are plenty of videos for this nothing beats being there in person. Amelia was such a lovely teacher, and so patient with us newbies! I will definitely continue classes with this dance studio.
Just finished the fundamentals tap course with Amelia as the teacher. A really great introduction to basic steps. I had done a little bit of tap before, but this has really helped me look at the breakdown of each step and ways to try to focus on certain aspects of the steps. Some steps I’d realised I was not “attacking” in the right way. Especially the refocusing on my ankles rather than tensing my toes! Each week we focus on one or two steps. Amelia goes through each step, gives different ways to access it (which is great as we all learn differently) and makes sure she checks everyone has got it. We work as a class group and also have time to do some individual practising. I’m now moving on to the beginners tap course and really looking forward to it.
