   Aside from a select few incredible teachers who went above and beyond to provide their support, the service from this institution is disgraceful. I believe my experience at this school has traumatised me and seriously negatively impacted me and my personal development. It pushed my mental health so close to collapse that I am utterly surprised I made it to the end of high school. These impacts are longstanding and still greatly affect my life years on. It is incredibly difficult to put into words my disdain for The Farnley Academy, the Gorse Trust and its figureheads. Children should not be treated like products, controlled to prison like extents or made to feel like animals, yet they continue to be. Education should not be a business, we are people and just because someone cannot work within stringent formulaic structures, does not mean they should be cast aside. Many times I felt the organisation was almost trying to indoctrinate me and my fellow students through power, strange propaganda-like assemblies on how great the school/leaders were, and the excessive, unnecessary control exerted over us, and my psyche became incredibly warped. I am still recovering to this day and my experience has affected my further education.

   absolutely horrific. the teachers are bullies and children themselves. the headteacher should be put through an incinerator, he has absolutely ruined that school in the past 4 ish years. the don’t care whatsoever for bullying and will make no effort to solve the issue. don’t care at all about students well being and i can guarantee no one is surprised that it went from an outstanding rating to requires improvement

   Worst school.... Teacher are rude, no respect. Cares about school ratings more than kids .. Absolutely rubbish..

   Shocking school, can never get through to try and resolve issues!! Teachers are bullies. Wouldn't recommend sending your children at all.

   This is the worse school to send your children too, bullying that never get resolved. Teachers are kids themselves an absolute disgrace.if you want your children to be safe and have a good education do not send your children here. The teachers make your children feel like they’re worthless
