This school is extremely disorganised and needs some urgent leadership. Kids are not provided with live online classes compared to neighbouring schools during the 3rd lockdown. Also when you do manage to speak to a member of staff and ask why no lessons have been uploaded, their response is 'it took us by surprise'. Sorry but you gave books for kids in November for home learning 'just in case', yet you were not prepared. They had made announcement a day before Boris Johnson lockdown speech, that the school would be closed but still they were not prepared. Other schools have managed to get everything in order - just feel the teachers are not committed any work that is sent you don't receive feedback and ways to get in touch with a teacher if the kids don't understand the work - WELL you got more of a chance to speak to the pope! After speaking to the headteacher this was resolved and the teachers called on the same day.

I have all 3 of my children in this school and I have constant problems here. Iqra academy is the most contradicting school you will ever come across. They like telling everyone to keep to timings for events but never do themselves. This so called academy has many hurdles to cross before being called anything but outstanding which is what Ofsted has rated. Staff like talking about child safe guarding but I think child safety is an issue when the school works together to cover problems lurking within. Schools and academies alike should work with parents not against them which is what I have experienced. First impressions could be deceiving with this place. I'm currently going through the complaints process involving school governors and the head teacher before I can officially get my children out of there.
