   We had our staff Christmas party at the Metropolitan on Saturday 13th December 2025 with 24 of us, and it was a great night. The food was faultless, everything was prepared/cooked nicely, the mains were served hot, and it all tasted great. The team were also very helpful in preparing a kosher meal, which was delivered the day before with no issues at all. We all had a brilliant evening, dancing along to Diana Ross and then enjoying the DJ afterwards. A big thank you to everyone at the Metropolitan, from the events team to the hospitality staff, for helping make it such an enjoyable night. We’d definitely recommend this venue.

   Met here for lunch with friends. Pay & display parking, gets busy very quickly at lunchtime. Functional building, comfortable large bar/restaurant. Good range of value menu items. Gastro pub menu, friendly efficient staff, quick service. Warm, clean and pleasant ambience with plenty outdoor seating for better weather. Did feel a bit rushed to pay and go at end of lunch service. Accessible from car park, plenty of room to move about, spotless clean toilets.

   Amazing venue with amazing staff . We know the venue well so were happy to book the venue for a 70th birthday party. We booked the Glindon Room as this was on the ground floor and perfect for our guests as some were in wheelchairs. Preparation for the event was really easy and managed by George. Everything was perfect on the day, the room looked lovely, the buffet was fabulous and the staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Anyone planning a celebration and looking for a venue should consider Metropolitan Bushey

   Celebrated a birthday party at Metropolitan. We had a great time! Staff were friendly and accommodating, value for money, food looked as good as it tasted and the venue has a great atmosphere. We are looking forward to visiting again. Well done Metropolitan!

   Nice view. Good changing rooms and toilets. Dryer was not working! Went there for over 40 masters cup cricket festival. Lots of space to park. £2.20 for 24hr parking.

   Had the misfortune of holding my dear grandchilds christening reception for close family and friends, well what can I say I booked and paid for 44 guests but only 32 arrived but the food supplied just placed on a table (see photo for 44 people)with no heating to keep a safe temperature was totally inadequate.Trying to find someone to take responsibility for the function was impossible,we requested more food from the barman who blamed the chef we asked to speak to him 3 times but he refused to come out of the kitchen,no one took any notice they just said that's what you booked there is no more.I will be contacting the environmental health food hygiene department as it must be illegal to put food on a table with no temperature control.Be careful when booking this venue you will not be looked after no one will check your satisfaction throughout the day,you will be fined in the car park even when booking a function.Lastly get everything in writing in contract form they will dispute decisions and promises made after you have paid your money Better still don't go here, find somewhere else, I will from now on,these people are unprofessional and should not be taking money from people for such poor service
