  1. Fairy Face HK - Joey Lee ★★★★★

Joey ( Face Painter of Fairy Face HK ) has been hired to offer face-painting services for celebration parties here. The staff team is friendly and helpful, and they assist me a lot. They provided fun for all, creating a smooth and stress-free experience; a lovely place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I found this venue of sharsey for an 8th birthday party. On the advert it claimed we could load and then park across the road. When we arrived I was also informed I could load and then park across by the park. I followed these instructions and moved my car as soon as I had finished loading. Our party was so well presented we were asked by the venue if they could take photos for advertising to which I agreed. I then later recioeved a parking ticket when I was in the loading spot, I tried to contest this but company denied my request despite having an email from the manager saying I could load there. I had to pay £100 fine due to the incorrect advert and instructions saying I could park there - Acton Gardens are just saying sorry they have had lots of problems with this SO THEN WHY WAS I TOLD I COULD LOAD THERE?

Being in the highest tax bracket the funding for this centre comes literally out of my pocket. Yet the receptionist coldly refused to let my *three-year-old* use the bathroom because allegedly “they’re not for public”. When I explained that I am not the public and that I live in this community I was given some other lame excuse. Pretty harsh I’d say. Way to give off a strong community vibe not to mention compassion. I did consider having my kid wee on their front door but then I thought I’m better than that.

We hired a small room to hold a meeting at the Centre. The receptionist was very attentive and kind. The room was well lit and heating was accessible. It's a good space to hold small meetings in a quiet environment.

  2. Mathieu CARPENTIER ★★★★☆

Very friendly staff and a lot of potential. The size and disposition of the rooms are a bit strange as it's more targeted towards the room rental / classes market but they have a few books, cleaned loos and a few free events for kids

Had my child’s birthday party there and it was a very good venue. Staff are helpful too. Easy booking and managing.

Very friendly staff , do lots of events for the community.

  2. Jenni JB ★★★☆☆

What a nice space for the community. Lots going on, but why is the cost to hire a hall space so expensive and well overpriced for that area. Sometimes unpleasant smell in main hall not nice.

VERY RUDE STAFF. Was treated terribly even though I was coming to a volunteering event, and am a resident, hence I would have thought the staff would be doubly inclined to be civil. I will be complaining formally, after all it is our service charges and taxes funding these services.

We hired Acton Gardens Community Centre for our team away day. Kosser and colleagues were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the day, despite the fact we were 130 people with a packed schedule that we had to get through! The centre has lovely airy rooms and great technology facilities so it was incredible value given how nice it was. Thanks for having us!
