Whether you're an experienced roller skater or just getting started, our roller skating venue offers an amazing experience for everyone. You have the option to hire skates on-site or bring your own, making it convenient for all visitors. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere with great music playing in the background and a drinks bar to keep you refreshed. The space is very spacious, with plenty of seating booths that can accommodate larger groups, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends and family. If you're a pro skater, you'll find plenty of opportunities to show off your skills. If it's your first time, don't worry—there are always friendly people around willing to help you get started but please keep in mind that weekends can get really busy. If you're new to skating, I recommend visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace was the chosen location for a gig by the Kaiser Chiefs and I have to admit that I had no idea what to expect. It all seemed pretty wacky to stage a concert at a roller-skating rink but what do I know? Anyhow it turns out that the venue is excellent for hosting pretty intimate, medium size shows. It's not quite a club but it's also so much better than a stadium with good sound and a chance to see the band as more than dots in the distance. In terms of facilities the Boogie Palace is well run and we had no issues with entry, getting served at the bar or anything else really. We could have done with some signs indicating that the show was upstairs, since it wasn't obvious, and the bar itself was a big let down. The drinks are over-priced (£7 for a single can of average lager!) and you'd be better off going to the pub first. Still we didn't go to Flipper's for the drinks and in all other respects this is a good venue if you enjoy live music. I'm looking forward to seeing what other bands they manage to attract.

Visiting from NYC and this place is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They are serious about their jobs and look as though they love to work there. Can you imagine my 7yr old fell and they strongly suggested that he be evaluated by a medic. I though that was so professional and compassionate. I didn't think it was a bad fall but they said check it to be on the safe side. The ticket price is a bit high. I love that the lockers were free. One thing I did notice is that patrons left their empty drinking glasses on the couches where you were suppose to put your skates on and that could be a hazard if someone sat on it or it rolled off the seat and broke. The facility is well decorated and the songs were not vulgar. The skate guards were very attentive also.

I recently visited Flippers Roller Boogie Place for the first time, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and lively music that filled the air. The venue had managed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, with a diverse crowd of all ages enjoying themselves on the rink. One aspect that truly stood out to me was the respect that everyone had for each other's space. Despite the venue being packed, people were considerate and mindful of others, allowing everyone to enjoy their time without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. However, there was one minor issue that I encountered during my visit. The locker area seemed to have a shortage of lockers, and the ones available were not spacious enough to store all of my belongings securely. This was a slight inconvenience, but it did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The staff at the venue were friendly and engaging, always ready to assist and ensure that everyone was having a great time. Their enthusiasm and helpfulness added to the overall enjoyment of the afternoon. Despite the locker issue, I would love to revisit this roller skating venue in the future. The atmosphere, music, and diverse crowd made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fun and inclusive roller skating adventure.

Fantastic fun for either family and friends. Cocktails were a little pricey ( but expected in london) but nice and strong. I didn't order food here, but it did look amazing. Great atmosphere, and staff go above and beyond to assist you if you are a beginner skater. Cannot wait to go again.

A fun activity for an evening, with live music, mood lighting, and food and drink available too. It got slightly repititive for me after a while but I still had a very enjoyable time. I also feel there could be more space for putting the skates on and was worried at first that the distance between the benches and the rink was too far without any supports or rails but it did provide quality entertainment!!

A very cool place. Decor, aesthetic and the set up was great. The Saturday night DJ was brilliant too. I was impressed with the staff on the rink, they were all over everything. Health & safety on point. A fun place for young people to hang out - the majority of the crowd was in their 20s - positive upbeat vibes. My only gripe was that I thought everything was pricier than it should be. £23 entry & skate hire, approx £15 for meals (even just chicken wings & sauces were £10). That said, I’d go again though. A fun evening out. I just need to practice my skating skills first!

I bought my son and niece skating and they enjoyed it. Good points, the staff are very friendly and helpful, when my niece was having trouble skating a staff member was teaching her how to use the support frame, they have free lockers to put your items in and the restaurant downstairs was nice as well. One bad point is the toilets are downstairs so you have to take off your skates to use it. Overall a good experience will definitely go again.
