   The OSO is a vibrant local arts centre that provides a truly valuable service to the community. It has a wonderful café that’s perfect for meeting friends at the weekend, and it hosts a diverse range of theatre throughout the year. In the summer, you can enjoy open-air concerts on the green and an outdoor cinema, both of which are always well attended and full of energy. There are many fantastic workshops on offer, so it’s worth checking their website to see what’s coming up. The OSO also presents annual exhibitions, and during the Barnes Fair, they serve great food and create a lively hub of activity. It’s a real hotspot for emerging talent, with work from young writers, actors, and even shows developed for or returning from the Edinburgh Fringe. Some well-known performers have also appeared here, which speaks to its growing reputation. They also host the famous comedy club, which brings even more variety to the programme. The staff and volunteers are warm and welcoming, always happy to help or answer questions. In the summer, it’s a real treat to sit outside in the sunshine with delicious, healthy homemade food from the café. If you haven’t discovered the OSO yet, it’s an absolute must, a true gem at the heart of the community.

   Lcal arts centre providing some great shows. Check out the cafe too, lovely coffee and excellent Banana Bread!!! I was part of the ‘On Golden Pond’ cast in February and had a lovely time, such a brilliant team working there.

   Very lovely neighbourhood theatre that also attracts big acts. From the best of the Edinburgh Fringe and the Comedy Store to homegrown favourites, the cafe serves food during the day, the bar is welcoming in the evening, and the cabaret-style theatre provides the entertainment.

   Beautiful area in posh Barnes, lovely houses, a small green + a lake. The venue is modern but intimate. I went to see a play there - any seat would have given a good view. Staff friendly . All perfect!!!

   Very tiny stage but great staff. Bar and cafe next to the pond - with one fat lazy fish begging for food ;) . Lovely location. If it wasn't enough 5 min away is Thames River.

   I attended a show at the end of 2022 which was superb. However, the front of house experience on arrival was a complete nightmare. Staff were swearing at each other loudly and aggressively behind the bar. The lady looking at tickets was rude and turning people away if they were even slightly late (it was a ammeter event so this completely unnecessary). The lady running box office was complaining that people wanted to buy tickets on the door even though the event was not sold out. The performers were being treated rudely by the staff during the interval and after the performance. At the end of the evening the audience were immediately shouted at to leave with no room to chat to each other or with the performers. Unbelievably rude. Would not recommend for anyone to attend an event here. I certainly will not be returning.

   Excellent service, warm welcome, great coffee. Very helpful and attentive staff. I spilt my 2 coffees accidentally as I leant on the small table which wasn't even on the floor. The staff quickly cleaned up and replaced the coffees without any fuss. Thanks guys.

   Saw "The Essence of Audrey" written by and starring Helen Anker. It's a beautiful insight into the life of Audrey Hepburn. She is Audrey Hepburn: the look, the voice, the mannerisms, truly an amazing performance. This is a lovely arts centre, beautifully presented with nice decoration, soft lighting and lovely staff serving good food and drinks. Before the show there was a wonderful pianist playing. Lovely clean rest rooms. Good wheelchair access, the theatre is located on the green at Barnes Pond. There is good on street parking and a Côte restaurant right next door!
