We recently hosted an event at this venue and had a mixed experience. When we first visited in October, we were told that if there were no events beforehand, we would be able to access the venue on Friday night or from 9am on Saturday to stock the fridge and prepare. However, about 48 hours before the event, we were informed that we could only enter from midday due to concerns about drinks going missing. This last-minute change caused a lot of stress, as we were working to a tight schedule. Even when we arrived at midday, we had to wait a while before someone came to open the doors so we could offload the drinks. Once inside, we were reassured that the venue had cameras everywhere, which made the strict access limitations even more confusing. Communication in the lead-up was a major issue. We were unable to reach anyone on the main line and had to contact the football club just to get through to someone. We were then given a personal number for Jiten, but our calls and messages went unanswered. That said, the team members who were present on the day were extremely helpful and professional. Puja helped the event run smoothly, kept us on track when timings were slipping, and was attentive to the lighting, plan, and overall atmosphere. Oliver assisted with access to the kitchen and venue, providing all the information and equipment we needed to set up our drinks. The venue itself was clean, organised, and ready for our reception, and whenever we had a question, we knew exactly who to approach. Overall, the venue and on-the-day staff were great, but the lack of communication and last-minute changes made the experience more stressful than it needed to be. With better consistency and clearer communication beforehand, this could have been a five-star experience.

The Hive, home of Barnet FC looks from a distance like its been made out of meccano. But once inside I found a friendly vibe in a compact stadium. The atmosphere was good and the football better than expected. Canons Park tube is apparently the least used station on the line. So show some love and visit for a game. Its only a five minute walk from station to stadium. The cost of admission is a bit excessive for lower league football but hey welcome to London. I would go again. Loved it.

Great football ground,The pitch used to be in bad condition, but they have recently upgraded it and now it’s great. Really good place to play football.

Visited for the first time and I was blown away by the facilities. Easy to get to, friendly staff, and a really nice stadium overall.

I come down here with my mates and play every Tuesday! The staff are professional and the pitch is well looked after to play a good game of football. What’s also amazing is the fact that Barnet FC is right next to it and when the fans come to cheer on their team the atmosphere feels like you are playing in the stadium with the spot light on you.

This is very beautiful football groud with huge parking space in it and they also have 2-3 lounge areas which they give on rent for special parties and ceremonies celebration. Moreover they have on cafeteria and gym for members.

Great ground, great day out with very welcoming staff and community who were attending. The ground is simply laid out and all areas are easy to access. Drinks and refreshments are plentiful and smiles were all around from everyone there. Nice grass on the pitch and clear viewing from where ever you are sat. If you ever visit here attendng whatever event on the pitch it is a fun time.

  2. Jonathan Edwards ★★★★☆

A nice new football stadium with plenty of facilities for away supporters. There's a large car park at the ground and it cost me £8 to park! All the food and drink prices are average.

  3. A London View ★★★☆☆

The Hive Stadium is nice to look at, but with a struggling team it's just feels empty. The food and drink was fine but the staff behind the counter struggled with simple orders more than the team on the pitch.
