We saw A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Amazing production, cast and performance. The small layout allowed for an immersive experience. Theater and cafe staff were very friendly and helpful. The shop is fun. Restrooms are clean and accessible. Some notable could be betters depending on your needs: - seating is bench style, if you are sitting anywhere other than the back rows, note that the seats lack back support and can be uncomfortable. - the print quality of some of the items at the shop - particularly the mugs and magnets - was low quality. You can see the pixelation of the art on those items. - would recommend being mindful of the food and snacks you decide to bring in during the performance. At the show we attended a family sitting near us opted for bags of crisps. Although staff asked them to open the bags up ahead of time to reduce noise, the crisps were distractingly the stars of the first act in our section.

Beautiful theatre, intimate and a feeling of an authentic Shakespeare time! The play itself was captivating and fun. A great night!

Stunning, beautiful, small indoor globe theatre the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. We watched the Welsh inspired Romero and Juliet..stunning production and first time Romeo and Juliet was played in that theatre and the Welsh language being spoken too.. I was on stage seating which was very immersive very close up to the actors, you felt yaself was a part of the play!!! The theatre itself is stunning and kept the history feel to it..

We saw the Playhouse’s Rough Magic, a play directed at children, who were indeed totally enchanted by the actors, antics, costumes, puns, and mayhem. Were the witches not really wicked? Was it all a dreadful misunderstanding? Should King Henry IX really be calling us all maggots? So much fun!

Petite theatre tucked into the iconic Globe. Cozy and can get quite warm in the upper circles. I opt for the standing tickets and it's not unbearable with a bar to lean on and a decent amount of space

It is a lovely recreation of a 17th century Jacobean theatre. This gives it a wonderful atmosphere for seeing Shakespeare and similar plays. The theatre is small so you will be close to the actors although possibly at a weird angle. The seats while presumably authentic were authentically uncomfortable; still the experience to get a sense of a 17th century playhouse was worth it.

We saw Henry V at the wonderful Sam Wanamaker playhouse. This is a beautiful and intimate theatre where you feel immersed in the performance. The candle lighting adds to the historical yet modern atmosphere. The seats can feel a bit uncomfortable after a while so the interval will be a welcome respite. There’s a cafe, bar and gift shop available.

We saw a reading of Romeo & Juliet for kids and weren't really sure what to expect. The one woman show was exceptional at involving and engaging the children as well as parents. She did a great job of bringing the story to life and giving it context.

We had had standing seats for Hamlet...but only made it through the 1st act, as standing was too much for my daughter. We knew to expect this so we weren't disappointed. Very atmospheric and intimate. So glad we went.
