Absolutely incredible experience. Loved the intimate setting. Was there to see No Man's Island and was moved to tears by the performance. Highly recomended.

Nice, quirky venue. Seating could be better. Was a bit uncomfortable after sitting for some time watching the show. They are stools, not actual chairs. So no backrest. Might be difficult for those who suffer with back problems. Has a small bar that serves alcohol and soft drinks. Free parking on the side roads after 6.30pm.

Google took me right past it down the street. It's easy to miss. Small theatre with terrible seating if you have back issues but the show totally made up for it. It felt raw and authentic. Great acting all-around. I was really impressed and glad I was introduced to this place. I look forward to seeing future shows.

My wife and I went to see Mission on 13/05/22. This was our first visit to the Big House Theatre Co. and we loved it. Such a great experience to be up close to the actors and feel the performance. The play was riveting from the get go. We were ushered to a room with two performers; their colloquy sets up the production which continues in another part of the venue. The cast of actors (mainly young) performed like a well oiled machine. There were moments of sheer brilliance; the technical wizardry was superb and the synchronization on point. The subject matter is emotive to say the least, both engaging and challenging. The final revelation utterly visceral. All in all a five star 90 minutes.

I've seen several productions now and all were incredibly powerful, moving, brilliantly acted with stunning energy and passion. It's always surprising, clever, totally original and on each occasion I was both, moved to tears and laughing out loud.

I love everything about The Big House. It works with young people at risk of social exclusion, providing them with a platform to have their voices heard. Every one of them is exceptionally talented and inspiring, and meeting them afterwards you can see what brilliant young people they are. I watched Bullet Tongue last year and more recently 1st Luv, which were both so fresh, exciting and spread such important messages. Go and support them when you can, you won't regret it!
