   Kids In Charge at Nightingale Primary have been brilliant. It is always daunting when your little baby goes to “big school” and after school club but my child really enjoys it, he is entertained, feels cared for. Sonia, in particular is great with kids, patient and very friendly. Gerry, the manager, has the whole setup properly structured and made a safe, fun environment for the kids. Definitely recommend.

   My son attends Nightingale Nursery and initially had reservations about attending the breakfast and after-school clubs. However, Sonia has been instrumental in assisting with his speech, toileting, and confidence. Thank you Sonia and kids in charge for making him feel comfortable :)

   My girls and I are very happy with the after school club at Heathcote. The leaders try to help us as much as they can. They always have something positive to say to my girls or about them. My girls are really enjoying and look forward to their sessions, especially the ‘baking club’ they get to make different things every week. My children are always learning something new.The adults talk to my children and join in the activities with them. My children enjoy the food they serve, lots of fresh and tasty food. Thank you

   My kids have been attending the after school club for several months now and they love it. The main questions they ask are Why have you picked us up so early and Why can't we go every day. The facilities are great with loads of internal and external space. Comms with the team is good and the ability to add extra evenings online is helpful.

   Our son has been attending KIC breakfast and after school club for 5 years now and he thoroughly enjoys every minute! It is a great relief as working parents to know that our son is in safe hands and is cared for so well during his time in the club sessions. We are grateful too for how hard the adults work and all the fun activities they prepare and lay out for the children. KIC has been such an invaluable service for us. Thank you so much!

   The after school club is great and the kids enjoy. The communication could be better. They do not communicate until you ask them, for example do not provide receipt of payment etc unless prompted. They also could provide more flexible hours. They only offer hourly but it would help if they could offer every half hour at a reduced rate for struggling working mums. Those who do not need full two hours for example but just need 1 half hours

   My son has been with KIC for over 3 years and he has made friends with other children and staff. I never worry once I drop him off and he is happy when I pick him up. Happy yes to see me, but happy as he had had fun. Staff give great feedback and encourage independent. Well done to a great service, keep up the good work. X

   My son attends both breakfast and after school club at Kids In Charge which is part of the school he attends. He loves going and has a great relationship with all the staff, and they always bend over backwards to ensure the kids are happy, have fun, are well fed and are entertained with the activities they do. My wife and I both work full time so having both breakfast and after school provision at the same school and at decent times (early start/late finish) is super helpful and sets them apart from the competition in the area. This gives us peace of mind that he is safe and well taken care of. Would highly recommend to any working parents looking for breakfast club / after school club care for their primary age children.
