Did met the entry requirements to study biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences here. Hopefully, next week I will revive an email with more information regarding my induction week and so on. Can’t wait to get into Mabgate campus.

Son was offered a place on degree course, then UCL neglected to inform us that they had decided not to run the course due to demand. Discovered this on 22nd August, after querying something. Every element of the UCL journey has been poor; online open day a shambles (didn't work and no information), in person nice enough but they weren't sure how you apply for the course itself, very blunt and unsupportive around deafness & language.

DIY copy and paste bodge job I've been told? Go to the open university it has proper course books and tutorials. Colleges are good for plumbing etc but it's better to go to an actual university for a degree so that you don't lose all your money and end up in debt without an actual degree

Course tutor was fantastic. Everything else was so poorly thought out, poorly implemented and poorly ran. Nobody seems to communicate here and when something goes wrong all the behind the scenes staff and middle management take unashamed cover behind the nearest policy and push everything onto their nearest scapegoat until noone talks about it anymore. So incompetent, - one member of staff brought security just to ask someone to move from a chair. Quite disgusted really

The 5star reviews are from the staff desperate to keep their jobs. The degrees are now accredited by the Open University so you may as well go straight there. Not impressed, tutors kept going off due to stress and classes were cancelled or we were just left to get on with our own study. A very badly run place not enough good staff

The Extended Diploma in Fine Art and Design course was one of the best courses I have studied on, the tutors (Kevin, Kirsty and Sarah) were perfect and made the course exciting and memorable. The course explored a range of different skills and media's with live and closed briefs. It prepares you for a job in the niche you choose or your chosen university course. If I could do it all over again I would, you really feel yourself grow and progress and all the staff are helpful and have an interest in your future, they're behind you 1000 percent. A really great atmosphere and worth the money (if paying). A bonus if continuing on from school like I did.

I would like to know why Deacon House, Seacroft, Leeds 14 tells potential students to the GCSE English course at the first class that they cannot do the course without having Broadband. Apparently Deacon House has not enough money to pay for the photocopying of course material, according to the tutor of the class, so students have to download it and print it out themselves. I was told I could not do the course if I did not have Broadband and had to leave the classroom. I was subsequently told I could join and have my work photocopied to take away at the lesson but this never happened. On one occasion I was told I would have to wait until the next week to get the work although students were being emailed the next day and it turned out it was only one sheet - easily photocopied. I have had to give up the course. This ruling affects older people more because they are perhaps less likely to have Broadband. In no way a good service.
