Good large park for joggers, plenty of space for kids playing football, basketball also has skate park decent enough for the community

I currently live in Woolwich, and my area is very built up. So it is a welcome relief to have this park only 9 minutes away from me. It is a good size and quiet. To do a lap around the most frequented trail takes around 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. There are a lot of dog lovers in the area who will give you a friendly nod as you walk by. I usually take my newborn and wife for a walk in this area as it is a great location for the family.

It's a large park. Not crowded. Mostly the occasional dog walker. People I met had a friendly greeting to give. The pond had little water.

It's an open-air green space that forms part of the Green Chain Walk. There is a children's play park plus a basketball court. There are lovely views across southeast London too.
