   My husband and I were catching the 1610 train to Leeds from Wakefield Westgate last Thursday 2 Oct and suddenly about 70 students descended o to the platform - my husband and I are in our early 70s and at first it was a bit over powering however this experience turned to joy - the students were fabulous full of life and energy but so courteous - they shared banter with us and when only 2 carriages arrived they ensured we got on the train- we're young at heart but they offered seats etc all through the journey they were so nice and well behaved but so full of fun - to the head of the college please pass on our thanks to these lovely young people - we were meeting friends to celebrate a birthday and this started or evening out on a high - thanks from Mo and Mike Shoebottom

   While most of the staff are excellent and the facilities are certainly amazing, the college's organisation is downright abhorrent, and miscommunication between staff is awful. For being one of the highest ranked drama colleges in the entire planet, they do not act it, and some of the staff, such as one male employee who is a dropout and has a horrid attitude, definitely need to improve their attitude toward students. Massive improvements can be made and my time at CAPA so far has taught me nothing.

   CAPA College is surely Wakefield's jewel in the crown. What an incredible facility! I have seen numerous showcases at the College and each time I leave the theatre totally invigorated. So much talent. Congratulations to all staff involved.

   a college that prouds themselves on how they treat their students. Fails to give proper aid to a person who has shown mental health issues, give “support”, giving the person a timeout pass to breathe and get themselves together given to them by the therapists of CAPA college. 2 “teachers” of CAPA college failed to help the student. 1 teacher who dropped out of university and doesn’t know what he is doing, the other who is a bully towards the person who has a mental health issue, Claire. Claire is also the person that removed this person from a show that they wanted to be apart of, the time out pass gave her reason to remove her from the show. I have no idea where they get the idea to call themselves an institution when they fail to support people, failure to teach.

   Excellent open day presented by Claire and telectri very passionate and informative Great performances by the students in all respective studies from dance, MT, drama and singing. Well done to all and the enthusiasm absolutely electric
