Parking space is very limited and there’s no information about parking and I got Β£100 fined after a month letter. Ignore this hall booking to avoid hassle your guests.

I understand this venue has parking free. However, the tablet is not visible as you enter the reception area. Most decent venues don't have this kind of parking system and saying that I think you can only park a measely 10 cars in there. Also if you are providing services here for a wedding or you are a guest and have not seen the tablet then you will get a penalty as I did. Many reasonable venues would allow the appeal if you can demonstrate that you were providing services for an event or a guest. However, there is absolutely no point in appealing with the parking company as they won't accept it, this is what happened when I appealed. It's a money-making scheme with a lack of any human compassion, and if you are having an event, then expect your guests to get tickets. There are many nicer and more reasonable venues to work with. I certainly won't be taking any bookings I receive for this venue or recommending it to anyone. The owner or manager who usually answers the phone says that it is an independent company that is in charge of the parking, which is fine and I understand that places have issues with unauthorised people parking , hence the parking system . But don't treat vendors and guests as unauthorised people as clearly they are parking to attend an event or to provide a service at your venue. Absolute robbery It's clearly not reasonable. The venue is cheap to hire but they will make their main money from your guests not seeing the tablet , just 10 tickets will be Β£650 for them , and as seen in a previous review they charged Β£850 for the venue lol

Rest assured parking is available free of charge to users and their guests of St Michaels Community Centre. The conditions being as clearly sign posted in the car park that the vehicle registration details are entered into the tablet located in the main and small hall granting them free parking for the day. The reviewer below who paints a false slanderous picture fails to mention that she herself did correctly input her registration details into the tablet on arrival at the venue so clearly was very aware. Cctv evidence and central ANPR mainframe system confirms this as fact. She clearly failed to remind her guests who failed to read the signs which culminated in the parking management issuing tickets to her guests and thus - she now attempts to portion blame elsewhere.

Please avoid booking this hall if you like your peace of mind. When we booked the hall nobody showed us about the new parking system that required you to put your registration in a tablet. The parking tablet is hidden behind a wall and not visible at all. Despite booking the hall for Β£850 , our guests received parking fines. The parking situation is a money making scheme. The parking company made no financial losses from us parking in the Space we had already hired . When we tried to explain this to the hall manager he was totally belligerent, repeatedly shouted at us on the phone and dropped the phone (several times) . You don’t have to believe me- just read other reviews below. The manager of the hall is an unbearably rude human being! He is a total ogre that has zero people management skills. A poor representation of his community. This guys should not be in charge of anything to do with the community! The hall itself is great but hire at your own risk- the manager needs firing!

I visited St. Michael's community centre to donate blood. The place was full of activity but it wasn't over crowded. The nurses and other staff were welcoming and friendly. There is a car park to the side of the cummunity centre but make sure you register your vehicle as the car park is monitored. I'm not sure what other events happen there but I will be back in December to donate again.

Give blood here every 3 months and it's a nice venue for it. Clean and has parking.

Big enough a hall but disadvantaged with limited parking space. There is need for air conditioner or fan during summer. The current manager or key man needs to be more pleasant in his approach.

Good size main hall with kitchen. They also have a couple of small halls approx the size of two classrooms. Well used for different kind of functions.
