We had a lovely time karting for my son's birthday. The overalls are a little worse for wear as the velcro on most of them didn't hold together.
The staff are friendly and helpful, a great view of the track from a balcony with up to date info of the track activity makes this a fantastic place to go and participate in some fun. Refreshments also available from a food van by the entrance, great day out Highly recommended
Great day out. Fast karts and a great 900m circuit. Staff were very helpful. Kids over 8 yrs old and 4ft tall can get into the fast karts.
Lakeside is a fast flowing track laid out very well and maintained to the best standards I know as I’ve raced in Rotax max in many different tracks the staff are very helpful and keep you updated at all times if there are any changes
My son and his friends had a great time at the karting track. When I booked the party the lady was really helpful and gave me all the options. I’m glad we chose the party so the boys had the track to themselves. This was reassuring to the parents and some of the kids felt better about the experience too. The staff helped the boys with their suits and helmets etc. The racing was fun and we used the picnic benches to have good and drink after. The boys (10years) had never done it before and thoroughly enjoyed it. All of them wanted to go back and do it again.
I love the track and the atmosphere there. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only negative is that on my last visit, there was a puddle of standing water in a corner of the track that would not drain. But I have been visiting the track several times, took part in the league championship last summer and will definitely return as soon as the weather conditions improve.
Great experience. Straightforward booking process. Family fun. Overall this was a great straightforward experience. Arrived, showed and directed what to do and how. The actual carting experience was also good. Good track, carts need to go faster... A really good fun thing to do with the family, brings out the competitive nature in everyone. We had a good experience and would definitely return!
It’s a very beautiful place to spend time with your family, it’s very clean and managed. In my opinion it was very safe. The cars aren’t the best but everything else was great
The member of staff that greeted us on reception was exceptional as she made an extreme exception for myself and my Son to still take part and was very empathetic to my circumstances in view of their policies- will definitely recommend to friends and family and had the most perfect experience. All staff from reception the preparing protective gear and helmet, safety advice and overall superb during race was perfect. Thank you for making our first experience the best ever!!!!
