   Disappointing piercing experience. Whilst the piercing was fine the pricing structure is not transparent at all. Daughter and I got done at same time and charged additional £30 for a ‘cleaning solution’. We were forced to buy two bottles despite only needing one. Apparently no way around this as sold as a ‘package deal’ despite items being charged for separately on receipt. In addition I chose 9ct gold and was charged incorrectly for 18ct. The additional studs I’d purchased were put in the bottom of the bag with said cleaning solution and when home they were completely bent and squashed - turns out they were actually cheaper online. Claire’s you need to sort this out - >£100 spent for two basic lobe piercings is extraordinary. Completely unnecessary to force customers to spend £30 on cleaning solution (as a healthcare professional myself I can tell you that that cost is definitely not required and is shocking!). Will be looking elsewhere in future.

   Booked online an appt at Altrincham branch to get my daughters ears pierced. Received text confirmation but THE STORE WAS CLOSED at our appt time! We went back a few times for an hour but it remained closed. Very disappointing for my daughter as she was so excited to get her ears pierced, shame on Claire's. We went to Accessorize in Altrinchan which I thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a reliable, professional, friendly service with lovely earrings.

   First visit and was looking for a specific item - a snap hair slide. The shop is jam packed full of hair, nail, jewellery, and more. There is a lot in quite a small shop which is bright and well stocked. They offer a piercing service. There was only one member of staff (due to illness the assistant said) so I had to wait whilst another customer and daughter were choosing earrings before having their ears pierced. The staff member gave good advice and talked through the process, she was very patient whilst her other customer kept changing her mind. I managed to find a wide choice of snap slides and purchased 2. The assistant was friendly and helpful.
